I had the awesome opportunity to meet Daryl as a starving actor/newbie magician back in the early 90's when I was working as a bartender in Hollywood. A mutual friend, Rich Marrotta, came in my bar as I was working on the Acrobatic Knot (known back then as the Jumping Knot of Pakistan) and I told him that I was having problems with one part of the effect. He was with Daryl who came in a few minutes later and personally took me through the entire effect. It has been a part of my shows since then. Awesome effect even if done with the shorter, less sleigth-of-hand version. Class act Daryl.....RIP....you will be missed!
