I thought it would be a lot louder, like a high pitch throw, but I can deal. I seem to be a very accurate and semi-deadly card thrower and because of utilizing what I learned from the Velocity DvD by Ricky Smith Jr. I tend to shatter the cards with relative ease depending on what I throw at, but other than that, it's a great product and I highly recommend it
