I've purchased this deck at a magic convention. I've been familiar with the marking system since the
previous editions and I have to say the marking system is one of the most visible reader systems
ever. But it is also one of the most concealed. I've heard there is a possible one way as well (I'll
look into that).
The difference between the Rogues and the previous versions are the finish and
the handling. This edition uses the new stock from cartamundi (their number 9) and includes an
addition to the marking to allow the suits to be read in a spread. The new finish handles great and
face up faros quite well and shuffles and spreads quite well. However, after some use, the cards
start to warp and isn't as quite durable as the finish on the NOCs. However, they do initially
handle like a dream.
Overall, for the marking system, I would give it a solid 5 (honestly would
give it a 10 if I could)
The quality of the decks and the handling is amazing but starts to show
age and isn't as durable as I would've liked. However, the box is thick and beautiful.
