I love it when math and magic come together. Rick has crafted a super simple performance that uses a spectator's phone. No, there is no setup needed and you don't touch the phone ever. I can perform this effect almost instantly. It's the type of effect that you can spring on your friends at dinner or on stage at a magic theater. Well done. It is uncommonly fun to use with versions of Rick's stage craft. I plan to use it on my math students first thing tomorrow!
