This video will give you good ideas for magic even if you don't do the tricks as shown. Some of the original tricks have aged poorly -- I don't see anyone doing a routine based around clay pipes today. Here's some comments on my favorites.

Boomerang Coins: notable for including a moment similar to a popular one by Paul Harris. I didn't know the idea was this old. This one works away from the stage, too.

Tea, Milk, Sugar Mystery: a very complex trick. Dan Harlan has changed the main methods into simpler ones, but it is still a major undertaking.

Phantom Bag Escape: a confounding escape that's underused. I don't care for the routine -- I think I'd combine the trick with another escape. Minimal prep required.
