This was my first Pablo Amira purchase and I got a whole lot from his Penguin lecture. He is an easy
going and humble guy who has really thought deeply about how he performs his mentalism (and also
why!).
The result is a fresh feeling approach and an easy presentational style. I learned a
few nice ideas from the technical side of things which appealed to me. Particularly in his work on
the pendulum and some clever p**k work. The biggest value for me however was in his teaching on
process and in how we go about learning and developing this art form in our own unique way.
Pablo is very much a unique individual, as are all the greats in our art. In this lecture he
unpacks a clear road map with tips and strategies for creating yourself as your own best self. This
is something I haven't seen handled as thoroughly in other lectures.
He manages errors and
technical glithes effortlessly which is a powerful reminder of how to deal with this stuff when it
comes up.
A really worthwhile lecture. I learned tons from it and highly recommend it to
any serious student. Thanks Pablo!
