There are many variations of this classic Al Leech plot, but Max's routine really MAXimizes the this effect (see what I did there?) with a simple, clean, fair, and powerful handling. The extra deck with the X card really packs a punch! And great to see Ray Goulet of Boston recognized for the wonderful dealing subtlety that adds so much to the fairness and randomness of the dealing procedure. You'd be hard-pressed to find another piece of card magic this powerful!
