less from Max. He is da man! When I saw Acar's email about this effect and saw Max's comment, I
thought that Max was simply recommending it. When I followed the link, I was delighted to find that
it is Max's creation. I didn't even watch the video. If it's by Max Maven (or even recommended by
him), I buy it. I suggest you do too. Max says this effect was 40 years in the making, but don't
wait that long, or you'll miss the introductory price which makes it EVEN BETTER! Thanks Max and
Acar!
I first ran across this routine about35 years ago when I saw Bob Jardine (the spelling might not be right, but what the hell I'm 88, and entitled to a bit of memory loss). In any case Bob performed a version of this at the bar in the cellar of the cellar of the Magic Castle. It is not clear from the video, but I expect the actual revelation is Max's switch. That said, this is a terrible simple but effective effect. I have used a version of if for year, and if you don't know it, GET IT.
I just reread my comments, and let's add poor editing to my problems with age...or maybe my evening's Scotch and Soda is the problem. In any case,
I really recommend Max's routine. It is one of those gems that appear now and then but which you can miss, if you don't pay attention to our elders.
