I bought this because I own some of Rafael's other effects and enjoy them.
However I will not be
adding this to my repertoire as I am not prepared to spend the many, many, many, many hours that will
be required to even begin to perform this effect poorly. Then many, many, many more hours will be
required to perform it well never mind perfect it.
All of the several methods required to
perform this effect are for advanced magicians only.
Beginners and intermediate magicians should
stay away from this one!
Some tricks are for beginners. This is not one of them. The time it takes to learn it depends on your prior skills. I suggest you look at it in a positive way. There are several options: 1) This is not for me 2) I'll practice until it is for me 3) Even if you don't do it, there are things to earn from it that yiou can use for something else. For me, that's the t rue way to learn. Use the psychology f the third phase in another trick. Or put one together with it. Look at the construction and psychological resources. Personally, I have learned a lot from tricks I don't do. (just a suggestion). Thanks for your interest.
Joseph,
I couldn't agree with you more. I really think this trick should have been advertised as not being for beginners. At my age, I don't think I will ever master the 'p' count that he uses. I would rather learn a lot of tricks than one trick with my time.
