This is a very clever manuscript. Devious ideas that actually work as planned.
But, as
with many effects, predicting which hand holds the coin could be simple luck.
So, you need
to put this with other effects to help enforce the idea that it's NOT luck.
And, I don't
think it's realistic to do SEVERAL of the methods from this manuscript, since you'd be changing the
"playing field" everytime which would probably be suspicious.
But, for a effect buried
amoung other effects, this is great! And, it's also a nice item to have in mind for impromptu.
Well worth the price.
Hello Larry.
Thank you for taking the time to post an honest review. I agree with you that a which hand routine is not going to set the world on fire regardless how clever the method might be. However, I think that for close up Verbalist makes the chances 1/4 instead of 50/50 and for stage Vice Versa has multiple stages and revelations, has 3 built in applause cues and a good chance for a standing ovation. As far as performing 2 effects for the same audience I think that performing routines like Verbalist and then Velvet or Vox 2.0 is realistic since they are quite different in presentation and execution.
Thanks again for your review. I really appreciate it. Have a great day.
