I've not been impressed with the some of the other downloads from these guys... until now. This is a
very good trick, especially since it looks so fair and it happens in the spectator's hand.
It's
pretty much as they show it: The spectator can really pick any card, and write all over the face.
You then fairly and openly initial the back and put the card in their hand. You then take out your
wallet while they are still holding the card, and put the wallet on the table, or even in the
spectator's other hand. (And this can be any wallet. You don't have to use a gimmicked "card to
wallet" wallet.)
When the spectator opens their hand, they are now holding a dollar bill. And
here's the best part: The spectator now opens your wallet and the spectator removes the signed card.
I took away one star because the advertising video makes it look like the spectator unfolds the
dollar which is not the way the trick works. This is not a weakness in the trick, but we all know
how important it is to show honest ads.
The trick is not hard to do. The gimmicks do all the
work, and the gimmicks are not hard to make. You will not have to buy anything you don't already
have.
They also show how you can use the same gimmicks to switch one folded card for another,
without having to do a Mercury Card fold.
But really, this is the easiest card to wallet using a
regular wallet I've ever seen, and it's enhanced by the fact that the card transforms into a dollar
right in the spectator's hand. Any beginner should be able to easily do it, and it should be strong
enough for any walk-around or close-up routine.
