Wow, it’s pretty rare to come across something like this. Not only is this super powerful, but it is
also so simple to perform. When it comes to my everyday carry I typically don’t like to bring more
than a deck of cards and a few coins with me. But this will be coming along as well from now on. I
can’t recommend this enough. It’s a killer.
Are these cards examinable? I am assuming not.
That’s the best part, spectator can totally examine them after you do one easy quick misdirection. Although the spectator will have their guard down and you will gain their trust when you allow them to choose which packet they should handle and then you blow their minds with the correct prediction. So the short answer is yes if you do one small thing.
“Nothing to see here folks, nothing to see”
No need for examination. You give them a free choice of which packet they want red or blue.No magicians choice either. They freely handle the cards they choose. You could hand yours out too, with a bit of business but it's overkill.
This looks similar to Rhine's Revenge.... Is it?
Hard to tell. I have seen Shines revenge and they are similar. I can only speak for beyond perfect esp, and it's a very clean method I've been knocking people with out of the box (5 min practice max needed).
Don't tell me the secret, but I would think that the spectator would assume that they are marked, even if they are not. That - in my opinion - takes away from the magic.
Duane -- The magician always lays down his card *before* the spectator lays down her card (and before the spectator even touches her card). So marked cards won't help the magician know what card the spectator is *going* to lay down. This is what makes the trick truly baffling -- how can the magician know what card the spectator *is going* to put down? Hope this clarifies why this trick really has an impact on the spectators. Jim
I forgot to mention -- I have Rhine's Revenge and have never wanted to do it because it's kind of complicated and the explanation is unclear about some important points. Beyond Perfect ESP is much more straightforward to perform and I definitely intend to learn it once I have the time. Jim
Sorry I just don't think this trick looks magical at all.
The reveal of the cards doesn't make sense.
Sorry Rotem, but if one did this trick ages ago they would surely burn you at the stake. Thats how magical this is! Play this right (the magician is indeed the actor) and this is as magical as it gets. Bow and applause for George.
Rotem - Do you think it may be more magical with ordinary playing card faces instead of ESP symbols? If so, you CAN do it once you know the mrthod. In fact, I started performing the effect before I received my cards, because the video goes into variations using playing card faces. Worth every penny.
Wow, wicked late to the party, but... Duane, I think you're spot on, I watched it once... think of mental epic and you will have your answer to James M W. Presentation determines the strength of any effect.
