These tricks stick with the original versions too closely for me.
It's interesting to see
the device used for Alan Alan's rising card trick, but I'll never use it because a simpler method
now exists (the one invented by Yigal Mesika).
The card box trick uses a box type that
isn't used any more. It could be updated using greeting cards or bank cheques, where those boxes are
still used, but it isn't done here.
I like Tony Noice's card transposition. It makes a card
go from your fingers into the middle of a deck backwards. I'll practice it.
