I just started reading and the book is good.
I especially love Darwin's attitude towards magician audience- his goal is to impress laymen and he does not try to change or hide that.
My favorites so far are Darwin's effects with the memorized deck: maximum risk, the last laugh and the one that Darwin consider one of his greatest effects- the zen master.

Overall, if you have some experience with cards- this book is just what you might be looking for.
