Prepare to rethink what you knew about Paddle Tricks!

Ever make a Paddle Trick from a kids' toy? Canadian TV Star and magician, Eric Leclerc, did! It's a great strolling magic trick that is fun to perform for kids and their families because, when you tell them you made your first magic trick from LEGO blocks, it's believable and captivating. Better still, the prop is immediately familiar to everyone!

Watch the trailer and see Eric perform Baffling Blocks for kids of all ages using some moves that'll fool even you! Think Paddle Tricks are passé? Think again! Eric has many creative approaches to forcing the color, doing the color change, and even making the entire paddle vanish and reappear!

You get the 7" paddle and 12 extra square blocks so you can change the force color to red, blue or green. The video instructions include explanations in the studio and several of Eric's live presentations. So see for yourself, and learn how to maximize spectator response. Best of all, this is an easy-to-master prop that has no reset time and can be examined after every time you perform with it.

Whether you're a working pro, or are looking for a new prop to entertain children in your life, get Baffling Blocks and you'll be baffling the young and young-at-heart faster than they can say, "I love LEGOs."

Hotrod has always been favorite of mine, don't know why I never thought of this as I love Legos. This puts a nice kick in an already wonderful little trick. Beginners or Pro's you owe it to your self to get this.

Great Alternative to Traditional Hot Rod Report this review

The first thing I thought when I saw this at a convention was that it was a great idea but I could just make it myself. There are two reasons why you shouldn't do that. First, you should pay creators who thought of things you didn't think of first. Second, the handle on the paddle is shaped, textured, and attached in a way that would be difficult to replicate with your own LEGOs, at least without making the paddle way too thick.

This is a well-made product, and you can swap the force color with the red, blue, and green squares provided.

I performed Baffling Blocks at a birthday party for 7 year-olds and it went over well. My only hesitation is that each color square is much larger than a typical Hot Rod jewel or dot, and as a result it's very difficult to avoid some flash during the move. This is even visible in the instructional video, and you'll see it in the mirror when you practice.

For young kids, this is a great alternative to the traditional "prop-looking" hot rod.

I teach English in Japan and this has become an EDC for me. I use this in my lessons and the kids just love it. It is so good because you can use it for teaching colors and counting. I really don't know what else to say about this. If you work with kids this is a must have.

Big and colorful and great for kids Report this review

A tried and true gimmick with a Lego look for kids, though some adults will get a kick out of this too.
It's large and weighty and very colorful. It looks and feels great. (though I should mention I have large hands)
The instruction covers a basic short routine with a couple of suggestions for color f***e though I decided on using a quiver with thin Lego pieces inside.
The routines taught could easily be extended as the blocks are removable. They're hard to remove so you wouldn't during a performance but you can put them back on during a performance. Craig Petty does a version like that on his Youtube channel.
Haven't had a chance to perform on actual kids yet (just grown ones) but I reckon they'll love it.

I have always liked paddle routines, but some are one trick ponies and others you have to go slow so the audience can follow or understand what you are doing. Using lego blocks is great, kids and adults alike understand what they are and to do something magical with them just works. Great idea and it would be cheap at twice the price, but not before I buy 2 more.
