01:09:00 Time stamp for Magicians life in the impossible.
This Trick killed me when I saw
it performed in the movie. I developed a different way to perform it, but this deck makes the
effect more impossible and 10x easier. By chance and by a man I feel torn from the same cloth. I
met for the 1st time Gregory Wilson at My first Penguin Live Lecture 2017. I was a little star
struck and his booth was the loudest from laughter and the like. But to my amazement, Greg
performed, "Peek Pack" as I had not so recently seen on Netflix. The mystery of Bryan Gillis's
effect still in my mind, I recognized the effect. I jumped on the opportunity when Gregory Wilson
Performed it. Plaudits Greg for working this effect out of Bryan.
Results:
1.
SHOWMANSHIP: 10/10
One can really focus on performance here due to method of deck and I haven't
watched the video cause I bought deck from Greg directly. But it is killer effect that convinces
people immediately that you are in their heads. Can be repeated depending on performance method.
2. CREATIVITY: 10/10
Don't try and make this yourself. If you make 10 dollars a hour.
It will take you more than 4 and a half hours to make this. Just buy it and receive the video
content as well. You'll be saving yourself some serious hurt. Even buying individually would cost
you 100 dollars.
3. DECEPTION: 8/10
Although the 2 methods I developed to duplicated
this effect are equal to what a spectator experiences. METHOD 1 loses a bit on deception upon impact
to a spectator but ends "CLEANER" and METHOD 2 is spectacularly challenging to a neophyte and ends
"Completely Clean".
To end clean for this effect you'll have to go here if you catch my
drift.

Proper management should eshew (yes
its a word) any need for obfuscation apropos to the, "Peek Pack".
This effect ranks high on
Speed = impossibility 10/10
Quality = materials, and impact spectators receive 10/10
Cost = 10/10 considering making it yourself is a chore or more expensive.
After
watching the Netflix special. I really connected to the different path's magicians can take on
career choices. Though your life, I can learn to skip various pitfalls. You are the magician that
shoulders are stood on. But that doesn't mean that the tallest should receive all the glory. Trust
your friends like Greg and
Thank you Bryan Gillis's for bequeathing this wonder to the world of
magic. I hope it impacts your way of living to encourage greater betterment of the magic industry.

When I opened the box for this effect, and Watched the instructions, I thought to myself how could
this ever fool an audience and play the way I want it to? When I tried this effect for the first
time, the reaction was surprisingly HUGE. Screaming ensued and I was happily stunned myself.
You may be interested in doing an effect like John Kennedy‘s mind power deck, or Richard
Osterlinds radar deck, or Docc Hillford Cassandra deck but this achieves the same effect with no
fishing and no Superfluous thought process.
I highly recommend.

This effect is well worth the purchase. This effect will be in your act/routine for years and
years. As well, the gimmick will last for years and years based upon the routine and your own care
for it. Recommend the purchase of this effect for beginner to professional.

Thank you Brian for sharing your signature illusion. As you and Greg mention Peek Pack is easy to
learn and perform. You've created something which allows the magician to have as much fun as they
want with the audience. Only reason for not giving 5-stars is the need to carry another deck
although it is a very powerful deck.

I wasn't sure I could pull it off but after I saw Greg do it in front of me I had to have it. I
practice and went and did it at my Magic Happy Hour (drinks and magic)
I did it and people are
still asking me how could I read their minds that easy.
It's all in the lesson. I'll do it all
the time thanks Greg.

I enjoy this. It's a well made deck. You can't hand it out, you can't shuffle it, you cannot
spread the deck out and let the audience see the faces. It's good as a closer or a one-off.
Perhaps as an opener, if you switch to something else non-card related and pull out another deck to
use after that. ...Or go through the trouble of a deck switch, (which I don't bother with).
Though I like this deck, I only gave it three stars because I think that's fair. First of all,
you can't hand it out, or shuffle it, etc. That means it's a one-trick pony that won't stand up to
any inspection. Minus one star. Secondly, I really, REALLY do NOT like the presentation shown for
this trick or the method taught. I saw Greg Wilson do this live, and his presentation convinced me
to purchase it. So, because I think the presentation/method provided actually weakens the impact of
the deck's potential, I took off another star.
All that being said, this deck is well made,
deceptive and, when used right, can be a powerful tool for a mentalism effect. I don't use ANY of
the presentation. Not the line about not using trick decks, not the 'quick look' method. None of
that. I also don't perform this for six people. I perform it for one to three people. I did
perform it using four people once, and it went just fine. If it's one person, I allow them a second
card choice, performing the routine twice and strengthening the effect. If it's for a group, I'll
select three people from the group. I give the option of changing their mind to the first spectator.
If they do, cool. If they don't, cool. I then will allow one or two others to select a card. I
also don't quickly reveal knowledge of the cards. I ask some random questions and I 'read' the
spectators that selected the cards, correctly guessing the cards.
This is a strong
mentalism effect, but has its limitations. The method taught has drawbacks all its own. Basically,
this is a fine tool if you have a strong performance to go with it.

I dont know what all the hype is about for this product. I suppose this method will suit some
performers better than others, but I was disappointed when I found out how it works.
