I only recently learned the Quarter through soda can. Yes, I am very late to the party. Most reviews here are 5-8 years old. I do not see any recent reviews or comments. It is no longer available here, but I thought this info should be shared. Yes, it is a great effect if performed properly, but there is a big problem.
It's 2017, and apparently the soda can manufacturers have changed the size of the hole in can. Without giving anything away, a standard US Quarter NO longer fits in through the hole without having to force it. It's just a hair too narrow now. In the demonstration video it is shown dropping out of the can into spectators hand. You will no longer be able to do that. No one seems to mention that.

The effect is 5 stars, but no longer being able to properly perform it sadly makes it a 1.

What can I say about this trick that hasn't been said already? This trick is the greatest impromptu trick of all time. You borrow everything. You can walk into a room with NOTHING, and borrow everything you need right there, and you can literally perform this miracle. Borrow the quarter, borrow the sharpie, and borrow the soda/beer can. You can't get any better then that. That IS magic.

The people I've showed this to are STILL talking about it to this day. I've been performing this trick for those same people for YEARS and they still have no idea how it's done, yet they don't even care, they just want to keep watching it. It's that powerful. Some have their quarter still inside their can at home sitting on their shelf. With this trick you ALWAYS have something to show, even when you have nothing on you. Just do this one trick for them, leave everything with them, and walk away.

Personally I don't like one trick dvd's because too many of them don't give you your moneys worth for only one effect. But with this dvd, you not only get your moneys worth, you get a trick that you will perform for your lifetime. What I've been doing lately is the sharpie routine from chop before I have their coin signed going into this. Having that combined with this routine together, makes all of it a masterpiece. I can't recommend this enough.

If you learn only one impromptu trick, then this is the one you should learn. It's very practical (everything can be borrowed), and it's not really that difficult to learn. Wayne Houchin is pure genious!

I use this all the time (I work in construction) so I know the practicalit of it.

Do yourself a favor and learn this now!

This is just magic at it's finest. Impromptu and extremely powerful. It doesn't get much better than this.

Highly recommend that you pick this up and learn an effect that will serve you well at every part you'll ever attend.

Give this the proper practice and you'll blow people away. I started doing this as soon as I got it I was so excited so I got caught because I thought it's so easy you can't get caught but you can if you don't pay attention to the subtleties. Some sleight of hand is required but not hard to master so work on performance and deliver greatly.

Awesome! This is my personal favorite Criss Angel product on the market! Though it isn't Criss's original effect it is truly amazing, and a thumbs up from me because it uses no gaffs!!! Probably my favorite soda can effect also! Only downside is it is a little more difficult with New Zealand cans... but a little more practice and its fine!

This is one of the best impromptu effects you can possibly do, I mean it's pretty close to perfect! I do this trick at parties, in the street, in restaurants...pretty much anywhere really because all you need is a coin and a can!

The guys teach the effect very well and they go over the nuances in a lot of detail which is great. I would certainly recommend you check this out!

Works with soda and beer cans and takes some serious practice. I wouldn't recommend performing this without AT LEAST practicing the moves for a couple hours and completely performing it start to finish by yourself 3-5 times before you show anybody. But once you get it, muscle memory takes over and it's seamless!

The best part of this is that you can do it completely impromptu, as there is no setup. The trick relies on your ability to perform, so in the name of Magic, if you get this trick, spend the time to perform it well!

With practice (not a whole lot) this is astonishing.

This trick BLOWS MINDS! It will take a good bit of practice, but for the most part it is fairly easy. Great teaching by Wayne Houchin and Criss Angel. It is a little overpriced, but when you get this down the reactions are so worth it!
