I use this effect as step one in a 3 phase tossed up deck card catch routine. The stunned
expressions & enthusiastic appreciation of this routine could not be possible without this CARD
CATCH by Abhay Sharma as its foundation.
Ist I use this idea & invention of Abhay Sharma, next
catching one card on a real sword & then 3 cards on Sword Card Deluxe. - Each step being more
magical than the last, breathing new life into the old card sword catch effect.
What a great
young mind Abhay has ! - Without his effect I could not have the 3 phase build up to impossibility
that I successfully employ, with an appropriate storyline of being trained in Deep Dark India making
Abhay's invention a great & solid foundation to be built upon!
If we encourage young Magi - use
& Credit such people & their strong basic inventions - everyone wins.
Thankyou Abhay Sharma

What a creative and unique card trick. I played the performance video a few times and couldn't
figure out the trick, before downloading the effect.Bravo, Sharma!!

First of all I have to say that one of the most important reasons why I bought this is because it
fooled me. I could not guess the method. The price was reasonable so I gave it a shot.
It has a
really clever method. You need to do a little bit of arts and crafts but it is not anything
difficult.
It takes a little bit of time to make it work smoothly but it is worth it.
The
only thing that bothers me is that I don't believe that this will work for a close up cituation. It
looks great on camera and I think it would even work on a small stage with the right volunteer.

The effect is lovely with kicker ending Best Buy till now
The effect is startling and the price is moderate, so I bought it.
There are some spoken
instructions in English and a few captions, but mime works adequately overall. Parts are repetitive
and laboured though. E.g. you’ll discover when practising what the limitations to your movements
are, and the restrictions, a bit of a drawback, are not too unnatural looking.
I’m only a
little concerned that the set-up, although taking only a few seconds, would surely need to be done
in private.
The method is quite clever and looks reliable, and the arts-and-crafts looks
very straightforward. Another plus is that he alertly covers the possibility that two identical
cards will not be seen while the cards flutter down.
I’d be inclined to tweak the initial
f---e though: riffling through at speed does not look reliable to me. (Perhaps I misunderstood what
was mimed.)
This should work pretty much as well in practice as it does on the video.
That's exactly what I was looking for. The method is simple, effective and clean. Recommended.
Honestly he has done an amazing job this might even be the one David Blaine did this is such and
amazing trick you will get amazing reactions you should check it out it’s very creative
