The handling of this trick is a breeze but the effect is huge. It claims to be self-handling and it
is. In fact, so easy you could do this via skype or other video, just a slight variation that is
taught on the instructional video, which is clear and to the point. I'm going to teach this to my 10
year old grand daughter. Love this as an impromptu. All you need are any ten cards. No gimmicks at
all so it finishes clean.

A great new way to do oil and water with no sleight of hand. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars
is that the switching of center card, though necessary, seems a little suspect. Otherwise, it's
great.

This one is very good. Very easy to learn and remember. Great instruction.

I have learned previously two Oil and Water routines. They were elaborate, and were full of counts
multi lifts, funny flips, slights etc. They were challenging, but they took oodles of time to get.
If I get out of practice in the slightest, it becomes risky to perform on short notice. Nathan makes
a point when he talks about being handed a grungy old sticky packet, when we shouldn't attempt the
fancy version, as Nathan suggests. With this version we get a big chunk of the joy without the risk,
and can do it on short notice. Bravo!

I'm pretty sure this video was made before Covid-19 became such a big part of our lives, but it is
worth mentioning that this technique is applicable to online, virtual shows as long as you have at
least TWO participants who can hear your voice, and are in the same room together with a deck of
cards.
In fact, I'm pretty sure you could do this over the phone if you're good at giving
instructions.
I am always looking for virtual magic that doesn't just boil down to, "Look,
I found your card...AGAIN." It's nice to be able to perform different kinds of effects online or at
a distance. In this case, we're talking about a transposition effect that you can do without even
being in the same room as your audience. Not bad!
The only thing that weakens the effect is
that there is some procedure involved that wouldn't be there if this were "real magic" — but, I
mean, OF COURSE! I gave this four stars, because giving it five stars would be like saying it's as
good as a floating table or an invisible deck, which I think of as "gold standard" tricks. I
wouldn't want to exaggerate.
Kranzo does a good job of explaining how you can rationalize
the procedure. There is an explanation he gives to make the moves seem as though they cannot
possibly accomplish anything — though, oddly, he does not give that explanation to the audience
during the live performance. He only highlights that explanation during the tutorial.
In
any case, that rationalization of the moves (i.e. persuading the audience that the moves don't do
anything, when in fact they do everything) is, to my mind, essential to getting the most out of this
performance.
There is one move at the end that obviously and undeniably changes the
position of only ONE card, but it is consistent with any "follow the leader" theme you may choose.
The audience will be aware that they took one card out of order, but I think they will be quite
surprised to discover that the other ones followed suit and "separated themselves."
This
has the potential to really fry brains (depending on the brains), and the steps involved are
minimized and rationalized to the point that a good performer can probably make the audience feel as
though this is real magic — even from thousands of miles away.

Blown away at this effect by Nathan Kranzo. Absolutely a shredder of an oil and water illusion.
Watched the video a few times before buying and couldn't believe how absolutely EZ this effect is.
I plan on busting this out everything because there's absolutely no gimmicks. The spectator does
all the work!!!
A SMASHING HIT.

Quite simply a Brilliant self working card effect, with a few touches I was unaware of.
You
will use this and laugh at how easy it is 90% hands off, with NO moves in the conventional sense,
just pure routine, for a couple of pounds
“ add to cart” and chuckle to yourself at this Easy
in spectators hands miracle

This must be the easiest and impactful card magic trick I have seen in a long time. With no sleight
and some good stagecraft, you create a powerful routine that happens in your spectators hands. This
is so good it can be performed without ever touching the cards. The effect changes 10 mixed
red/black cards into 5 red and 5 black cards. I am adding this to my routine immediately.....it
also can be used with jumbo cards for stage.

I like this trick a lot, the principle used has a lot of flexibility. I keep thinking of ways it can
be used besides Nathan's excellent script. This is one I am bound to do a lot.

Not earth shattering but good to have in the armoury for that moment when someone says, "Show us a
trick". The moves are a bit contrived but the end result provides a nice WOW moment.
One small
gripe: the audience reaction in the trailer and in the full performance on the download is
ridiculous. They break out in manic laughter, yet there is nothing comic in the trick at all. Too
many trailers include this sort of gross over reaction. Magicians are intelligent people and should
not be treated like idiots.
Nathan's teaching and the video quality are excellent.
