i went ahead and purchased this yesterday, i was intrigued by the trailer and performance of it. The secret of this routine is very clever i was totally wrong as to the method so i was pleasently suprised. There is quite a lengthy setup involved took me about 4 min, so this isnt a trick that you can set up infront of the spectators and you wont be able to do any other effects once you have it set up for this particular one.
It is very simple to do in all honesty no there is no memorization involved yes the cards can be shuffled to a point however you the magician have to shuffle the cards yes the spectators can cut the cards as many times as they like. when you deal the cards into 2 piles the spectators can actually tell you were to start left/right and than again right/left or left/right so they get to decide how they are dealt. they also get to decide which pile will be used. in the demo he had a smile pile about 8/9 cards you can use more if you want but if you want to be able to repeeat the effect right away i would go with a smaller pile cause then it might not be repeatable because of the setup. and yes he shows a version of doing it blindfolded.
All in all i think its money well spent i really enjoy this routine and the spectators wont have a clue as to how its done. besides the lengthy set up this is a very ingineous and amazing routine i would absoulty add it to your cart you wont be dissapointed.

Nice trick, although for $10 the video could have been better made. Sometimes it's difficult to understand the magician explaining it and he uses camera angles from the spectator's viewpoint. Anybody teaching magic on video should always do it from over the shoulder magician's viewpoint, especially in this video when explaining various shuffles. It's a cute trick that probably could have been part of a book on card magic rather than a separate item for $10. Still a convincing magic trick with some setup required and easy for beginners.

I have Asi’s book and have been doing the color sense trick for a few months and it never fails to get a killer reaction. But this takes it to a whole new level! To be able to name the full identity of every card is the kicker I’ve been looking for. The only disadvantage is you can’t let them shuffle. But if you do your part well they won’t question it and they will never spot the secret. I love this because when you spread the deck there is nothing to see and nothing can be backtracked no matter how hard they try. This I will use.

This is a cool concept and worthy contribution. The set up is not worth the effect imo.

The ad is also misleading. The cards can’t shuffled they can be false shuffled. Further, Delgaudio’s truffle shuffle is taught in the tutorial without any crediting to Derek and presumably without any permission.
