Just to state,I do have the original and made the gimmick myself. The new gimmick is poorly and
cheaply made. I honestly would have done a better job and did on the first one. I was hoping for
more durable materials like stated but that is not the case. For the price I would expect the
gimmick to be much better than the first that I put together. It's just not. Very disappointed in
this release. No real improvements that I can see.Its the same thing really with one minor addition
that makes no difference. Dont waste your time on this, especially if you have the first release.

The explanation on how to load the gimmick was rushed. My gimmick would fall off on the drop
routine. I ended up adding magnets to keep it from falling off

I was very excited about this one. Nicholas makes this look extremely easy to do and its a cool
effect. I imagine that I just need some more practice. I was a little disappointed with the
configuration, I had to glue part of the gimmick back together right out of the box. I seem to be
fumbling with getting everything lined up. Hoping this is where more practice comes into play.
Still a cool trick.

If you could do REAL magic for your audiences, it would look EXACTLY like Revolve. Wow!
Nicholas Lawrence has created an effect of magical beauty and wonder.
I SO wish I could
give it 5-stars. It took me half an hour of watching and re-watching the first few minutes of the
video before I could figure out the gimmick and its use. This could've been resolved with some
close-up camera work and slower presentation. I was convinced I had a mis-made gimmick. Not a good
feeling after the high price of the effect. Hopefully, this can get corrected.
Even so,
this effect IS worth what I went through to get the AWESOME effect! I'm glad I stuck it out and
figured it out.
Recommended, with reservations.

The trick is supervisual and exciting. My only issue was in the explanation- A. Lawrence assumes we
all get how its built but when he was explaining hoe to set it up it wasnt really clear on the video
and so trying to figure it out for myself I almost ruined me gimmick (it's on the fragile side to
begin with).
Once I understood I was good to go! But by then my gimmick isnt sticking as
tihht as it was out the box. But it's a great looking packaging, quality product, and very cool
effect. I just wish I understood the set up better. I think if he was a lottle clearer with how it
fit together id give it a 10/10.
But maybe that's more on me being a newbee and not on
Lawrence. All I know is all grab his next product and be back for more.

Really excellent.
I had the original version, and construction was a bear. You also ended
up with a somewhat noisy gimmick (not a problem except in the quietest environments, though).
Nicholas has trimmed both the process and the skills & items needed to make the gimmick and come
out with something that works as well (or better) that can be made in under 20 minutes the first
time (10 if you get to the point you don't have to refer to the video).
Someone said this
required a lot of arts and crafts. I wonder if that person is referring to the original? This
one's requirements are INCREDIBLY light. Plus, you get a much-expanded tutorial with input from
other well-respected magicians.

I am a fan of Nicholas Lawrence, having bought several of his tricks now. Revolve is one of those
rare types of magic that are so visual and ingenious that even knowing how it works doesn't diminish
how impressive it is.
On top of being just an incredible illusion, revolve is ridiculously
easy to learn and comes with exactly what you need out of the package. The gimmick works beautifully
and is really tough, and even if it somehow breaks or eventually wears down, there are detailed
instructions to build your own.
Usually I avoid tricks that only have one or two
applications, but Revolve is absolutely worth it even just doing the basic colour change. It's
instant, visual, and utterly magical. I performed this for both adults and children in the last week
and got massive reactions from everyone.
I highly recommend this trick, it's going to be
one of my favourite purchases from Penguin for a long time.

Pretty cool effect. Nicholas Lawrence does a good job explaining the various ways to perform the
effect. The only suggestions I would make is to the instructional video. I would have appreciated
over-the-shoulder shots of loading the gimmick. That is a pet peeve of mine for some (not all) of
the instructional videos...not enough, if any, shots from behind the performer.

Very cool however making your own requires lots of craft skills.
