Although I don't perform anymore, like most magic junkies, I probably buy more magic & books than I
ever did back then because it's fun to enjoy the intricate thought processes behind the effects,
methods and subtleties (something I would gloss over when I was "too busy", and just wanted to learn
an effect and start using it.) The first time I saw Daniel do this, I got a stupid grin across my
face because I was expecting a "great trick" (I'm a fan and have plunged into other "Chard's On
Cards" in the past). What I was NOT expecting was to be stir-fried and served-up to "Gotcha"
cannibals! WTF, Dan? The 2nd vanish is STUPID to watch! Seriously! I can't think of a more
magical moment that I've seen in a while. The fact that it's the SECOND VANISH, and you are already
focusing in on the action because you just got burned with the first vanish.....and then it happens
AGAIN, with NO GET-READY OR SILLY MOVE! You just flip the three Aces face-down....and one vanishes!
That simple. It's gone! My mind turned to mud!
Since I was still grinning, more
permanently however; I had to just buy the damn thing! If I was that drenched in brain-glue by only
the 2nd vanish; there's not really a reason to even TRY and follow-along at that point. Here's my
$$$$ Daniel! I hope it was worth ruining a man's life with by scarring him with this stupid grin
that won't go away!!!

This is a super simple but very impressive 4 ace vanishing routine. The simplicity is what makes
this a great trick far above more complex 4 ace routines.
Daniel talks in great detail
about every little move and sleight - much more detail than I was expecting! He is very concise in
his explanation and is very easy to follow.
Overall, a great routine at a great price! Bag
it

I love this effect the teaching is excellent and just an excellent use of what comes with cards.
Thank you so much Daniel. I will be performing this A LOT!

What a nice and simple effect. The vanishes appear very straightforward and can obviously be
achieved - as others have said - with the addition of a gimmick that all magicians will have. This
trick won’t fool a fellow magician, but it should be very pleasing for a layman. However, the real
fooler - simply amazing - is when the four aces reappear. How was that done! I watched time and
time again - never mind the vanishes, that’s standard stuff - but the reappearance ? Simply amazing
and I was about to part with my money for that alone, until ….
I realised there’s camera
trickery involved. Why do so-called respectable magic companies do this? It’s so unhelpful and,
sorry to say, deceitful. A split second after the magician waves his hand over the pack, revealing
the upturned aces, there is a video cut. The shot appears to simply cut a fraction wider, the edit -
as intended - is barely noticeable, but it means time has passed. Time that you don’t see. Time that
has been cut out of the performance and for the magician to do other things that the spectators
will have seen, but you at home don’t. It could be a lot of time, but my guess is it’s just long
enough to ditch the gimmick. However, long or short, the effect - the four aces returning to the top
- is good, but not as good as the video would have you believe.
So, a sorry moment in what
is otherwise a nice trick. Subliminal video edits, especially edits that are ‘hidden’ by the action,
and pass unnoticed, which are employed at the very moment of ‘move’ or deception in a trick, should
be outlawed in promotional magic videos. They give everybody a bad name.

Great trick for walk around or table hopping. Any magician that I know has this gimmick in a drawer
someplace or may use it in their card magic like I do. Most professional card decks come with one.
The handling is clean and only takes a small bit of practice. It is perfect for fooling muggles,
not so much for fooling magicians. I liked it a lot.

Wow Wow Wow!!! Before i watched the explanation I assumed this would take about a week to practice
and it’d be one of those things that i only do for my magician friends. I was severely wrong. This
effect is so simple to do, and the “gimmick” it uses is 100% in every magicians drawer. I didn’t
expect an effect this visual/powerful to be so simple. I would highly recommend this to anyone who
likes what they see in the trailer!

Even a beginner could learn this effect easily by putting a little time into it. If you're
intermediate, you'll already know the moves and will be able to start performing quickly. Daniel has
a warm and engaging teaching style. Won't fool magicians, but will have a huge impact on lay people.
Well done, Daniel.

The tutorial, plus lots and lots of practice time, have taught me much about handling a couple of
common sleights (one of which Daniel teaches differently than I’d ever seen, and it’s a slick move
that required concerted practice time—from me, anyway). Daniel’s routine is pretty straightforward,
plus it’s got panache and it adapts well to one’s magical persona. Incredible value for the price.
And it’s so enjoyable to practice that I can’t help but remember the index card I use for the last
phase; I didn’t even need to get it tattooed on my forearm!

I have time to practice and this a good trick to go along with twisting the aces variations. I love
it.
