I got this over another similar stab trick just released but am not to happy with it. It isn't the
props but the instructional video. There are couple things that are very germane to the working of
the effect which Chad hardly addresses at all, if at all. These involve prep and performance of the
effect. I can't say much more but have addressed it to Penguin in hopes of a response and solution.
Having been with them since early 2002, even moderating the forums this is one effect I would wait
and see if there are some additions to the instructional video. Others have said they think it is
great but how many have actually gone out and performed in the real world with it??

I am very impressed with how sincere and thorough Chad is in explaining every detail and nuance of
the trick. An example, is instead of just saying "control the card to the top with your favorite
method", Chad takes the time to explain three great ways while being thoughtful of different
performers' skill levels. I also enjoyed him taking the time of giving a bonus by adding a "magic
marker" performance while handing out the sharpie to the audience.

Chad Long has presented a simple yet highly effective routine/secret that will fool laypeople all
day long. Anyone can do this with just a little practice to make it flow.
My only wish is
that it wasn't so messy. It might be difficult to use this for table hopping, but it could be
done...the mess is part of the effect, though, and is part of what makes it fun for all. High five
and five stars for Pop Gun!

Would give a five star but the gun I got doesn’t work right. My bullets don’t stay cocked in gun..
they shoot out right when you put in gun… but I bought a different gun.. the magic is an awesome
trick. And easy method for any level of magician to pull off.. and I love the little bonus pen trick
he put in with it.

So I didn't buy this trick for the toy gun (big shocker!) but more for the instruction from Chad
Long. And it doesn't disappoint there, for sure. To be honest, when I found out the method I was
surprise at how simple it was and how much he goes into other parts of the presentation which help
it be a complete routine instead of just another piece of one. His style of teaching is a bit all
over the place and chaotic but I think it works for him. He also teaches a bit of a Fl!pstick
routine from years ago that is a pretty neat thing as well as a few basic card sleights to help
magician's that don't know any yet be able to do parts of the routine. Some are complex and some are
easy and he offers instruction in both. The value here is Chad Long's instruction. The prop is OK
and functions as it should (I've had the arrow jam once or twice but no biggie.) Decent buy.

Great application of an all time favorite.
Only issue was the provided yarn was a little weak,
and the dart broke it…but a little nylon string was all it took…
A great comedy routine.

I really love this effect and the whole novelty of using a toy gun to capture a card.
It
is an effect that has personality and makes people say wow. I would highly recommend this for any
close up worker that wants to utilize what normally would be a stage effect.
Highly
recommended!

the first one i recieved was broken, but Penguin promptly replaced it. This is a great effect. very
well taught. I don't generally do card tricks, but this is in my shows.

Love the way Chads mind works. Classic Chad Long effect. Some great bonus material.
Love the prop. Light and fun.
