A refreshing download! 2 hours of good teaching and a presentation of different tricks that can be
effectively done with the cull. I have many many DVDs priced above $30 that don't come close to
offering what was offered in this video. I love the cull. I do many tricks with the cull. This
video, in my view, is for intermediate card workers that want something tangible and don't care
about high def production with superficial gloss. The style is similar to Steven Hobbs Technical
Toolbox. It is all substance and no frills.

Way back when I first learned the spread cull, I learned it incorrectly. I read the description and
thought I understood the mechanics, but I was wrong. My misunderstanding of the move made it
practically unusable and as a result I was frustrated.
A year or so back, a couple of
friends pointed out the error of my ways and set me straight about the mechanics of the spread cull.
Since then I have found it to be one of the most useful tools in my sleight of hand arsenal. Having
followed Carl's YouTube channel for some time, I wanted to support his efforts, and so purchased the
product as a way of doing so. Man, am I ever glad I did.
While admitting that the fault
in learning was my own, I must also stress that none of the sources I learned from went into the
pedantic detail that Carl does in the video download. He approaches teaching with empathy and
patience. His - to my knowledge - breakdown of the move using two cards and building to full deck,
is brilliant.
The spread cull is an important move, and anyone wishing to learn the basics
of the move and enough applications to keep you busy for years, then get this download. I will be
recommending to any magicians asking for resources on the move. It's good. It's very good. It's a
bargain.

This is definitely worth the price! Clear, detailed and fresh instruction! The only con I have is ,
I would have liked more depth on rhythm.

A well taught video, no details are missed out. The clever thinking applied to classic effects is
just great, I especially loved the ambitious card ideas. A very good price for a really great
download!

Just what I was looking for. No lie.

I could see straight away that some might turn their nose up at some of routines on this. Some
routines you're left with a card you can't hand out or deck which is left a bit dirty. Also
for.wxample, card to wallet can be achieved in a stronger way with a control, palm and slide wallet
etc. However, if in a situation where you don't have a deck and someone hands you one.for a quick
trick you can apply alot things to do some impressive things. It's more about handling and
presentation to make the effect stronger. You definetly wouldn't do Two or three of these routines
in a row, but that's obvious. This sleight is an essential I think and Carl's teaching is clear and
thorough, and the price is great. I recommend this. P.s Maybe don't use a bathroom rug as a close up
pad... Thanks Carl
I really enjoyed this download. I already do the spread cull pretty well but if I had to learn it
again, this is the source I'd use. It represents great value for money. The tricks on here are also
pretty good and I particularly like his approach to using the cull for an ambitious card. It makes a
welcome change from the common over reliance on double lifts. If you want to learn the spread cull
or, simply, expand yourcurrent view on the range of possibilities it offers make sure to pick this
up!
A great thesis on the cull force. Don't overlook the oft-underused skill. Excellent course on this
fundamental move. I will be using this more, thanks to this download.
I've read at least 3 books/booklets on culling cards, and also watched a couple of well known videos
to learn, but never was able to cull well enough to satisfy putting it into the routine I wanted to
perform (More Memory Man - Joel Givens).
Carl's teaching has changed all of that for me.
He broke it down into simple steps, and after only 25 minutes of his teaching, I was abler to cull
single cards from small packets, and then from a full deck.
I don't buy many downloads, but
after hearing that the Magic Bullet was the way to learn, I broke down and bought it. And I'm
really glad that I did.
Thank you Carl, for explaining and teaching culling in a way that I
was able to finally grasp and apply.
And now, back to More Memory Man...
