Perform an incredibly direct piece of magic with almost no moves, and leave your audience with no explanation. The card the name is the only face-up card in the deck, and it’s a different color than the rest of the deck. Before you move on because you think you have this trick in your drawer, you should know that the rest of the cards are blank. This is Invisible Soul presented by Adrian Vega.

Here’s what happens:

Invisible Soul starts by introducing a blue card box, that the audience is asked to imagine contains a blue deck. However, the deck that comes out of the box is red. The audience is asked to imagine they are holding the soul of the deck choose half of the deck, and then name any card in that half of the deck. The card they name is the card they choose. For the first time, the magician picks up the deck and spreads through it, revealing only one playing card is facing up, and it is the named card. That card is turned over and revealed to be the only blue card in a red deck. Then, in a stunning kicker, the deck is spread face up, and all of the cards in the deck are blank.

You will receive a specially gimmicked deck that makes this impossible effect a reality. In addition to the deck, you’ll receive expert instructions from Spanish card expert Adrian Vega. This trick comes ready to go right out of the box and doesn’t require any crazy sleight of hand to perform. The deck does all the work for you. The named card feels like an impossibly free choice that your audience will never be able to backtrack. Let the spirit of the deck give you big reactions with Invisible Soul presented by Adrian Vega.

Invisible Soul is a presentation of an idea originally created by Adrian Gower and released by Alakazam. Special thanks to Alakazam for giving us permission to release our version of Adrian Gower’s original idea.

I Really Like This One Report this review

This is B'Wave with an entire deck. It's super clean, works great in close-up or small stage, and ends with a great kicker. I like Roberto Giobbi's Red Card a lot, but I may like this one better because of the ending where all cards except the selected card are blank. There are no "arts and crafts." The deck is set for you, except for some very quick DIY markings. This one hits all the marks for me: easy enough to do to let me focus on the fun of the performance, while also delivering a series of great surprises: the selected card is the only one that appears face up in the deck...with a different back...and the rest of the deck is blank. Great stuff. Highly recommended.

This is quite possibly my favorite version of the invisible deck. It has a couple of really nice touches that i think improve the effect. However, the impact of the effect is largely the same as the original method. I believe penguin has the tradition invisible deck on the site for 6 bucks. It's up to you if the 500% price increase is worth these couple of extra touches you get with this deck. For me, i think it was however i don't think that will be true across the board.

Good effect using two old principles but the R & S is way too heavily applied. VERY difficult to slide the cards. Going to have to work with them to make the deck usable

I found the cards too sticky, you practically have to peel them apart and couldn't manage the reveal demonstrated. Also you need a roughing stick(not provided) to reset, so if you follow though with the video you have likely blown the deck until you get a roughing stick. In the video there is a blue which isn't supplied with the red deck. there Its a good trick but the kit isnt all that.

I do enjoy Adrian Vega's teaching. Once you get past his accent his information and experience is valuable. Plus the tricks he chooses to put out always seem like hits to me.

This really is a fooler and very easy to do. The only problem I have is separating the cards, perhaps because my fingers are too smooth. I have the same problem with the invisible deck. I get over this by applying a little glycerin and rose water over my finger tips. I hope this is helpful to anyone who has the same problem.

Great trick, I love the inclusion of the glass for holding the deck. It is a good idea, and it eliminates flashes of the deck face during the performance. The second surprises in the performance is outstanding. It is good, especially for parlor or restaurant work.
