Lovely routine, excellent approach. Dan Harlan does a tremendous job in his explanations - Dan at
its best ;) ... Easy to blow it up so that you can use it also stand up or stage with some little
adjustments - I did already and made up laminated cards in DIN A4 /app. "letter size"). Little hint
(helping to strength the theme of influence): I printed the word "Stroop" (only this word...) in
blue.

I love the idea of using a premise borrowed from experimental cognitive psychology for a
mind-reading/magic presentation. This is just a fairly simple, slight trick and doesn't explore the
premise's full potential. At heart it's a very simple self-working card trick of the sort you
already know how to do. The rave reviews show how far we've slid as a community when it comes to
putting presentation first. Just feels like the excellent premise deserves better exploration and,
hopefully, a stronger resulting trick.

The Stroop Test is an engaging piece of mentalism that is simple to do and immediately captures the
attention of spectators. That said, most performers will want to rework the two different versions
of scripts offered with the downloadable instructions. One author presents the effect in a
straightforward narrative that lacks the creativity afforded by the effect. The other author
couches the effect in some psychobabble about conscious and unconscious minds that most educated
adults would find scientifically thin. Bottom line: buy this trick but turn your own creative juices
loose and come up with your own novel presentation.

This is an old trick you probably learned as a kid in new clothes. Using the Stroop Test is a very
good idea. Too bad they did not take much advantage of this.
1) It is ok but could have
been much better. The patter is really limited when it could go into the Stroop Test in much more
in-depth. Do the research to add that to the routine. Too bad they were lazy.
2) For the
price, they should have used plastic cards so they don't wear easily. They were cheap.
3)
The colors are not all great. The brown looks black, the orange looks a bit like red.
4)
They should have included a wallet for the cards. They were cheap.
I am very disappointed
in this. The trick could have been much better. I have a hard time believing this is one of Dan
Harlan's "go-to" tricks. Also, you won't be terribly successful doing this on stage, at least with
the props. provided.
I don't think I will be using this.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Not just for the great trick (and it is), but, as a fledgling
magician, I really appreciated the insights given by everyone in the video. They not only showed
three different performances which helps me design my patter, but they gave multiple, very helpful
tips after the explanation to clarify ways to make the performance more...seamless. Great job!

Hey There, I purchased the Stroop Test, I played around with the card for a short time, Opened up
the unbelievably detailed video and before you knew it, I had the presentation down pat. After
showing the trick to several unsuspecting spectators, I was able to put my own pin on the trick. All
I can say is, Great Trick, Leaves your spectators wanting more and if you haven’t ordered your, What
the heck are you waiting for. Honestly, it’s an easy trick to learn, If a pineapple like me can
learn and perform it, you’re way ahead of the game.

Very fun little trick, can be presented a number of ways. If you're life is even remotely related
to psychology, medicine, art, etc. you can naturally present this. It can only really be done once
within a group of people - once someone has seen it, you can't perform it again even if they didn't
"do" it so its best 1:1. And one reveal is just so much better than the other, I find myself
praying for it. But, for what it is, its a lot of fun and the various presentations and methods
allow you to adapt the concept to other "make your own" tricks. Worth the buy.

I just got this in the mail today and I had to watch the downloads. The downloads are amazing. David
Jonathan and Nicolas Ma res is came up with an awesome effect and Dan Harlan did an incredible job
in teaching it especially with the little details. It is well worth the money and then some.

Nikolas Mavresis showed this to a virtual lecture he did for our club and I was immediately in love
with it (I already knew what a Stroop Test was). The presentation gets your audience hooked right
from the start and the final reveal will "get them" for sure.
