Chapter 1: Chaos Prediction

Dani DaOrtiz is back with another course in the impossible. Welcome to The Chaos Project. This a one-year course in which you learn to harness the powers of chaos in your card magic to make the impossible a part of your everyday magic. Now set up in easy-to-follow chapters of The What, The How, and The Why, learning the magic of Dani DaOrtiz is even easier than ever before.

The What
A prediction is written on a slip of paper which is folded up and placed on the table. A deck of cards is given to a spectator. The magician tells the audience to do their best to mess him up, but they won’t be able to because the magician is so lucky. The deck is divided into two halves and handed out for the spectators to shuffle. One of the spectators is asked to think of a number between one and fifteen. The cards from the packet this spectator is holding are shown to the spectator, and the spectator remembers the card in the position of the number they thought of. This spectator then moves the number of cards they are thinking of from the top of their packet to the bottom and then deals their cards out into three packets in any order and is given the opportunity to shuffle this packet at any time they want. The packets are gathered up in any order into a single pile and spread on the table. The prediction is opened, and a number revealed. That number of cards is counted down, and impossibly, the thought of card is found in the predicted location.

The How
Right off the top of the lesson, Dani gives you an immediate explanation of how the featured effect works. You’ll get all the necessary information for you to start practicing this amazing effect. In the first chapter, you’ll learn how to take a borrowed shuffled deck in use, and even if it’s missing a handful of cards, you can perform a powerful miracle. You’ll also learn how to cleverly use a prediction system that your audience won’t see coming.

The Why
Once you’ve learned the secrets, Dani teaches you the real work. The psychology and theory of chaos are as important to learn as the moves. In this first lesson, Dani will walk you through the secret of planting chaos in the mind of your spectator so that you have total control over your performing environment. You’ll also learn the importance of cutting through the chaos with a clear message so your audience can easily identify the trick. Lastly, Dani will take you through the process of closing doors. Presenting false solutions to your spectators so that you can then use the chaos to make your effects truly impossible.

The Chaos Project is a year-long course in learning some of the devious methods and principles that make the magic of Dani DaOrtiz so deceptive. This first lesson is an essential stepping stone for all students of magic to learn the power of chaos. It’s time to begin a new course with Dani DaOrtiz in Chapter 1 of The Chaos Project

This is an old idea, but he explains it better. He doesn't just talk about the trick or method; he also talks about the psychology behind it, which makes it a really good buy.

Great trick. He had a style that is all his own, so the challenge will be your originality of presentation. The trick itself is incredibly simple to learn. This is worth every Penny (and more).

Dani DaOrtiz has a unique way of presenting an effect. He is gifted as well as entertaining. His tricks are well thought out and logical, leaving little for the spectator to question and “Very Lucky” is no exception.
Dani immediately cuts to the nuts and bolts of the trick giving you an explanation of how the trick was accomplished. After this he gives an explanation of the thinking that went into it. A solid philosophy on the simplicity of deception.
Easy to follow, fun to do. The difficulty level will depend of how you decide to present it. Basically it is a very easy trick to to perform. But like all good magic, the more natural you want it to look, the more time and effort must be put into it.

This is without a doubt one of the best downloads I've ever purchased. I've been an infrequent performer for about 65 years. This is right down my alley because, with a reasonable amount of time and attention, I've ended up with an absolute winner. Dani's thoughts on the psychology of the trick are worth the small cost and applicable to all good magic.

I really like a lot about this method. Like a lot. What is even better than the method and the effect is dani's talk on spectator psychology and what not. This was super worth in my opinion.

Dani DaOrtiz was not my favorite magician couple of days ago, in fact i didn't know him much.

After watching this, I feel like i need to watch everything he did! The way he explains and the way the video is structure is high quality.

How to take a simple trick and turn it into a great piece of magic. The important thing is not the trick is you (the magician).

Can't wait to see the next chapter

another genius of this genius. It's a shame that some reviews only stay in the HOW part, being able to get real gems from the WHY part. Genius.
