Every Month we gather some of the coolest magic you can do in the pages of this magazine and this issue is especially awesome! This month we are focusing on a mis-pipped card. Specifically a Two of Clubs, with an Ace of Diamonds in one index.
Ryan Schlutz joins us this month to share one of the best transpositions we’ve ever seen! Ryan also talks about how he got into magic, his creative process, and how he went about creating his own deck of cards in an interview with Kevin Reylek.
We also sat down with Franz Harary to discuss how David Copperfield ended up performing one of Harary’s most legendary illusions where he sliced a woman into 9 pieces!
Here is the incredible magic you will learn this month:
Buffalo Transpo by Doug Conn
This transposition is almost heavily psychological. You get inside their mind and perform a powerful switch of two playing cards.
Two-Fair Transpo by Ryan Schlutz
This is one of the greatest transpositions we have ever seen. First, you learn a super visual color change! It’s super easy to do, yet people will swear you are a master of sleight of hand.
Then you change a playing card while it is held tightly in your friend's hands. They verify its identity while it is in their hands, then it changes!!!
Kung-Fu Panda’s Color Change by Mag Gerard
This visual color change happens in a swift motion, almost like a karate chop. You’ll have a ton of fun practicing this move.
Doug’s Skinner Killer by Doug Conn and Michael Skinner
The mis-pipped card included in this issue is sometimes called the monte card. Well Doug Conn teaches a great monte routine using this card and you can easily add it to an existing monte routine, or perform it by itself.
Card to Book Page by Josh Burch
The pips on a playing card melt away and appear printed on a freely selected page in booklet or magazine!
