I love magic that involves a plot that captures the attention of the spectators. There is no angle
issues, so long as you end properly. To me, this is perfect for walk around and it's totally
unexpecting.
FYI, if need be, you can also buy the items you need to make a few of your
own inexpensively at your local Hobby Lobby and/or Walmart.

This is a great reworking of Grandma's Necklace - and I can use this to demonstrate forgiveness -
either God's forgiveness or forgiving yourself. Nothing hokey about that - but an excellent magical
teaching and emotional moment. Thanks Dan!

Like all magic tricks, there are strengths and weaknesses.
Strengths
1. Great idea to do
wearable magic. Perfect for close-up work.
2. The methodology is very clever. This isn’t your
Grandmother’s Necklace
Weaknesses
1. The script might work for the older Gen Z and
younger Millennial crowd, but I quickly learned that the hokey psychobabble patter didn’t work. Be
prepared to generate your own new scripts.
2. The props are uninspiring, especially the wooden
beads, which are like the ones found in preschools. I ditched them and now use two different sets.
One set uses large, attractive beads from a Hawaiian necklace so popular on the Islands. I use a
Hawaiian-based patter and play Hawaiian music in the background. For the other set, I commissioned a
jeweler to make three larger attractive gemstones to use on the necklace. They look like something
they might wear at a fashionable party. Both sets have proved to be a great opening because people
are curious and want to know the story about them. They often invite me to perform rather than me
approaching them and asking if they’d like to see some magic.
Conclusion
Get the
effect but be prepared to rework it, both patter and props significantly.

"Ritual" is incredible !!! This illusion goes leaps and bounds beyond my expectations. One of my
goals in life is to give people hope. This trick will be a metaphor for something much bigger. It
will show that "Letting Go" is possible no matter how impossible it seems. I wish I could give it
fifty stars. Thank You Dan Harlan you're amazing !!!

Ritual is a really fun trick to perform with people. It allows them inclusion in the trick and the
patter is what really makes the trick. Dan has a great routine that really fits perfectly with the
vibe. The trick is simple and clever but without Dan's patter, it's fairly pedestrian. He made it a
complete and really nice experience with another person.

A very simple trick that has an amazing illusion even if you are performing it for yourself.
Buy
it.

Wow. Dan has hit it out of the park again with Ritual. It takes my grandmother’s necklace to a whole
new level where I will be using it as a daily carry. This is just sweet!

I am glad I bought this with open box, Thiry dollars is a lot for what he provided. A lot of reviews
are right, This makes this a lot better by buying nice stone beads and a nicer leather cord, TEMU
online has great prices. The richer it looks makes it a lot more believable and they will be more
careful holding it.

The idea is good but the materials are really not nice. The clamps that fix the cords are much too
big and absolutely useless. The colors aren't the best either, and the pearls aren't particularly
attractive either. I copied everything with black cords that I had to look for a long time. Soft and
stretchy so the pearls are also fixed when I pull them up. I still have to rework one Pearl . The
pearls are in red, yellow and black and then I also explain what each color stands for in terms of
negative qualities. I also have much smaller clasps, because in the original everything is much too
big and dominant. I give 5 stars for the idea with the special story , but the material is just too
bad. Therefore only 3 Stars.

I confess, I like Dan Harlan and his magic tricks and gimmicks. So far I always had a lot of fun
learning and performing his stuff. And it's the same for this one.
I watched the video and was
able to perform the trick within a few minutes.
I can't wait to try it out in public.
So
Dan, keep on creating amazing magic stuff.
