If you ever thought that Double Facers Card Tricks were lam and not foolers so you reframed from
doing them because of their simplicity. Remember, Dai Vernon fooled Harry Houdini around five times
using a Double Facer.
So before you think that you’re too good to use Double Facers, you’re
probably missing out on potentially a lot of fun effects that you could be performing.
Or
perhaps you just want to learn more tricks using Double Facers. Then check this out!
Some of the
most deceptive effects are done within their simplicity and Tricks With Double Facers rank up there.
I use Double Facers in my professional shows that gets huge reactions and entertainment value.
I highly recommend Tricks With Double Facers with Erik Tate, (and that’s no double talk.)
Another tutorial that is out of the park homerun!
Not many non magicians even know or think
about a card being a double facer.
Great tool and knowledge to have to create real foolers!
Thank you Penguin for sharing!
BEST place to obtain great magic effects both free as well as
ones to purchase.
Penguin also has fantastic magicians for their tutorials.
Im an amatuer. 100% amatuer, but i took an hour a day for 3 days and practiced each trick. Ive
fooled everyone. These are that good. Im getting better as i get more comfortable and it just
makes it easier. Brilliant, easy and amazing. Well done Sir.
with regards to the "you can't do what I can do". It seems easy to perform, and could be fun. I
would script it differently, maybe in a way that wouldn't potentially "insult" the spectator. It
could also be a nice lead into "Triumph". I will be using this.
"Math ghost" offered some
good ideas too (like double-witting). I don't know that I would reference "spirit slates". Again, I
would find my own words.
Greatest magic ever with a small pack

Eric is a great instructor, and you can't complain about the price. Both tricks are fun but they do
require a prior setup so they pretty much have to be openers. That's not so bad, You Do As I Do in
particular feels like it should be an opener.
My small complaint is that Eric doesn't give you a
way to ditch the double-facer so that you can do more tricks with the deck. Now if you are able to
get the d-f to the bottom of the deck you can put the deck in the box with the d-f next to the
finger cutout, turn that side of the box down, and use your middle finger to hold back the d-f while
you tip the rest of the deck back out of the box because you "just thought of" another trick. Why
doesn't Eric show that, or some other way to clean up?

With Erik Tait you can't go wrong. Some great tricks with double facers.
