I use the Mark Wilson Course as a text book for magic classes. Each student receives the book and
live instruction, along with a show open to the public on stage. It's a classic text and every trick
in the book deserves consideration. We're on our 3rd Big Show produced from the book with no repeat
tricks. It's a go to reference if you need some " new" stuff for your show.

This was one of my first books on magic and it does not disappoint! With the price and the amount of
information and tricks included, this is a great addition for any magic bookshelf. The methods are
clearly outlined in black and white pictures. What it may lack in color, this book offers a vast
array of illusions and tricks. Many of the tricks given can be adapted or changed around using
different items and presentations to great applause. If you are looking to purchase a quality first
time magic book for someone that covers a range of type magic (coin, stage illusion, mental, card,
etc.) this will give a nice glimpse into most all of them. I highly recommend this text. Many dvds
out there today are based off of many of these same tricks...but include only a handful of tricks;
this text has tons of tricks and will have you going back to it years later! A+ You won't be
disappointed with Mark Wilson's Course in Magic!
DVDs and CDs are nice to see illusions
performed and for more indepth examination of tricks...but seldom include the quantity and quality
of illusions that can be found here. Enjoy!

A book full of content in many subjects. Coin, cards, sponges, and even great illusions. One of the
things that I love is the illustrations and explanations. All very clear.
An awesome book for
the beginner magician c:
This was the very first magic book I got 30 years ago. Now anytime a kid in my life wants to learn
magic, this is the book I buy them. I think I have purchased a few copies in the last year alone.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a required text. Along with Royal Road, Bobos Coin Magic, and the
Tarbell course, this book is an essential text to the beginning prestidigitator. It is where I got
my start oh so many years ago and there are still chapters that I find to this day that surprise me.
A literal treasure trove.
Must have book for any beginner or professional! It has all the classics with easy to understand
illustrations. I own two, one stays home and the other stays in my car. I wish they would do a PDF
version.
I GOT MY MARK WILSON BOOK AS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FROM MY PARENTS. I USED IT TO LEARN MAGIC AT AN
EARLY AGE EVERY THING FROM PAPER CLIPS TO BUILDING ILLUSIONS. I USE IT TODAY AS AN AID WHEN TEACHING
MAGIC AT MY MAGIC STORE. I THINK IT IS ONE OF THE MAGIC BOOKS EVERY MAGICIAN SHOULD HAVE IN THEIR
LIBRARY. IT COVERS EVERY SUBJECT IN MAGIC AND I STILL FIND EFFECTS THAT I DIDNT KNOW. CHECK OUT NEW
CARD MONTE, THIS WILL FOOL MANY OF THEM.
when I started learning years ago this was the one book I got out of the library the most. Then a
few years back found a copy at a book sale for 4$ thought I had died and gone to heaven this is the
best 20$ you will ever spend, I'm still using it today now that i retired and working on doing magic
full time.
For $20, this is a steal. Seriously. Buying this book should land anyone in prison. Like I said, its
a steal.
I had it a few years ago, and stupidly, I threw it away. Boy was that a dumb move.
I didn't know better back then. I was a hobbyist that was only interested in your flavor of the
month "street effect".
Now that I'm doing a few paid gigs, here and there, I'm realizing
the value of this book. When you start looking for work, you realize that your little street card
magic effects will severely limit the number of gigs you can do. As all gigs don't all lend
themselves to the same type of magic.
This book is PACKED with will all types of magic that
can be performed in different types of situations. There's close up and stand up. There's magic
thats good for a tabled performance and magic that's suited for in the hands. There's magic for all
different ages. There's (my favorite) Card magic, coin magic, rope magic, sponge ball magic, mental
magic, and more. There's a chapter on illusions that won't cost thousands of dollars to pull off.
Its truly a remarkable volume.
Much of the card magic is spectacular. Card tricks that can
be done in front of a large audience, as well as intimate/close up effects. You can literally find
magic that can fit any audience and any performing environment.
If you're just a David
Blaine-wannabe, don't waste your time. But if you're serious about tje art and excelling in it, then
this book is for you.If there is a Holy Grail of magic, then this book is it. I just bought it to
replace the one I tossed out. I couldn't be happier.
This is a great book to add to your Library of Magic.
It has MANY, MANY, Magic Tricks,
Illusions, etc that you can add to your show.
There's something for everyone in this book.
Don't delay, BUY it now !
