Quick review... as I got this today.

Fresh Cent:

This is a good effect and a fooler. It's done exactly as you would think it's done but Marcus does give you some nice handling tips. I'm not sure if I'll use this professionally yet.

Mint Condition:

Firstly DG says "instantly repeatable, different number everytime".... This isn't true at all and should have been edited out of the DVD. Nor is this an effect I'd use professionally, in fact it could have been left off the DVD if not for the fact that that the method is slightly outside the box (pun not intended nor does it reveal the method).

Raw Linkage:

A simply brilliant effect.

Stairway:

As above.

Daley's Revenge:

A pointless card "trick" (because there is nothing magical about it and the moves are way too obvious to even a spectator). There is a reason you don't see too much of this in the trailer. When I watched it for the first time I saw every single move. Very disappointing and I reckon it was only put on there as filler because calling the DVD Four and charging this amount.... well that would have been silly.

To wrap up, DG could have been left out of this DVD and two more effects by Marcus Eddie would have been far better I would think. But I am glad to say that there is at least one effect that I will use professionally. That's a hard thing to say about a lot of DVD's these days and I look forward to seeing more of Marcus Eddie in the future.

Also (and the mods may rightly so edit this part) you can buy Stairway as a single effect elsewhere, this to me suggests that people have realised that as a whole, this DVD isn't fantastic. Think about it, other DVD's for the same price can give you up to three times the effects.

If I could I would have given the DVD 2.5 stars based on the tricks, DVD value for money and what the average magician will learn from it.

These guys have created quite the 5 effects for street magic.

The highlights on this DVD would be Fresh Scent and Stairway.

Fresh Scent is a impromptu way of getting a dime into a tic tac box visually. You could use a penny but that takes a second of setup.

Stairway is a visual, impromptu, easy way of making a borrowed bill jump up to the top of a rubber band ladder in an impossible manner.

The rest of the effects on the DVD are practical but I don't care much for a take on Chris Kenner's Ten City. Raw Linkage will take muscle memory and practice.

These effects are real world and practical. i wish I could have seen more live performances of Danny.

The Quality is T11 quality. The best Quality.

Run out and grab this one.

ok i was gonna give this 4 stars but i couldn't because honest to god i didn't expect this dvd to be amazing looking at dannys other recent releases , out of the 5 tricks on this dvd i use 3 of them but thats not because 2 of them are bad infact i think all of the tricks are awesome just the card effect is not my style nor did it interest me , but if your kicking around trying to think of something new to leard i recommend this , symphony , fallen , torn too , etc may have sucked but this does not , the rubber band effects are brilliant and the mentalist effect with the tictacs is killer , those are the 3 i actually use.

this dvd is awesome. Raw linkage is up there with my favorite rubberband links, and what is there not to love about stairway. so easy yet so practical. ADD TO CART

DG&ME's minds (when combined) create magical gold. The material in this DVD is taught in extreme detail and great explanation style. All performances are live on the street and in the Studio. The material included is not throw away and the sleights included are as good as the tricks themselves. BUY NOW!

the dvd is full of 5 effects i found 4 of them to be very good and practical. its full of some insane magic and stairway is what it looks like clean and can be done ANYTIME ANYWARE. the dvd is def worth checking out stairway alones worth 15 dollars plus the 4 other tricks. the coin through tictac box efect is also taught to be done on the fly with borrowed items.

Just finished watching 5 for 5 and I was blown away by the quality of material and the thorough instruction for each effect. I think this DVD sets a new standard. Instead of receiving a DVD of a few good effects and a bunch of filler you get 5 strong effects you will want to do. The coin into Tic-Tac box by Marcus looks beautiful and I laughed out loud at the method and clean-up – brilliant! Garcia then does a nice mentalisim effect using Tic-Tac’s. The rubber band magic performed by Marcus is incredible and worth the price of admission – these are going to take some work. Finally the Card routine is good and eye candy – very visual. All in all a great product from two creative guy’s.

It can be card to find truly great magic with everyday items. There is so much out there that is so marginal. However, there are some effects one here that are just phenomenal. Raw linkage is possibly the best rubber band effect ever! Fresh cent is possibly the best convenient casual or walk-around coin in bottle only it is a coin in an empty mint container. I haven't even gotten to Stairway which some say is the best effect on the DVD.

This DVD is the same as Symphony if you like Symphony then you will like this one.

Note: The Fresh Cent can't be performed with euro's. All the euro's are mixed up (Sorry can't explain more why you can't use it if you are living in europe because I will give the effect away if I explain more).

And not all the effects will be performed in public.

Symphony is a little bit bether than this DVD. But I bought it because of Stairways.

stairway makes this whole set worthwhile alone. its one of those rare tricks that you can literally do anytime, with anyone's borrowed rubber bands and money, and the setup is built in to the trick and takes less than a second. carry some bands in your wallet or on your wrist and youll always be able to perform it. no bad angles. no major setup to hide. just amazing magic.

fresh scent is also a good trick and they show some good handling tips that make it even better and easier to perform. and again its something you can carry around with you easily.

im not going to go into a specific review of all of the tricks other than those two just because stairway was the whole reason i bought the dvd, and it did not disappoint. if youre looking for something completely impromptu and impressive then dont hesitate to buy this dvd!
