This was a Cool Box purchase. As such, I have capped the "poison pen". It does do what it says it
will, but has very limited functionally relating to the devices it will work with. For example, my
phone is not one of those it works with- nor are either of my two cameras.~Smeg. Should say that in
the ad. Tisk tisk. It can also be tricky to implement the method on the fly,as folks are protective
of their phone. and I don't see it working on a borrowed unit with a tough audience.
With
that said, I borrowed a friends phone and it is a Great Bar trick, and should work nicely around
Valentines day. For a casual gathering, "this is SO cute!" type of thing, its $$$ well spent. Had I
paid full price I would have been ticked.

This effect is SUPER cool! And it ALL happens in the spectators hands and there's nothing to find!
SO SO SO COOL! ...and so worth the price!!

I like this effect a lot. It's cool and I've gotten great reactions from spectators. My only
problem is that I've had a little trouble in the daytime. It still works, but it doesn't look as
good

This is one of the coolest effects out right now. You'll love it! Just make sure your phone has a
case and you are set!

I'm really glad that I didn't waste any of my own money buying this. I got it as a freebie during
the Black Friday sale. Let's see ... terrible production values, so bad that you can barely see what
is going on, skimpy explanation, and you are expected to gimmick up your cell phone or digital
camera. Oh, and the effect isn't good enough to invest your time in it. In short: do not buy this.
It’s someth different practically self working however the gimmick does mess with the quality of the
camera. Super easy to carry around though
great reactions in the right setting. works better when bit darker and once you get the correct
distance and phone camera zoom worked out can pack a real punch.
Looks amazing if you are game
to use it on a spectator phone (I work it in with a couple other effects and reason to be taking
their case on/off) and gives them a nice souvenir to keep the photo then.
look after the
gimmick - it is small and easily lost when out at a walk around gig if not taken care of
The trick is very cool and will leave your audience stunned, but.. It doesn't work with every
device, you can't use a borrowed phone or camera, works with the same forced card only.
This is a great trick for valentines day and it looks amazing in camera! Not all phones will work
but most people have IPhones and that will work! But it is a bit overpriced! I would pay up to $15
dollars for this not really anymore. Luckily I payed the Coolbox Blizzard price of $5! When it came
in the mail, no gimmicks came! It's great that Penguin Magic is awesome and supplied me with so for
free! In the end I recommend it for the Coolbox price!
illuminate was actually really foolproof, though you do need your own smartphone. it works out well
unless your a kid buying this and you don't have a smartphone of somekind.
