You show a blank card that is attached to a lanyard around your neck. You ask a spectator to choose, and sign, any random playing card from a deck. The spectator then places their signed card inside a card box. You tell them that you will make their signed card vanish. However, when you open the card box there is still a card inside.

You then explain that their card did in fact vanish and you show them that the card inside the card box is blank. You then remind the spectator that at the beginning you showed them a blank card attached to the lanyard around your neck. When you turn this card over, it is their signed card. Everything is examinable.

I try to review every product I buy on Penguin. I got this one in the Coolbox, and I must say I am very disappointed.

Not with the secret, but rather with the handling. The trick does not work well.

I,ve got dissapointed whith this one. I expected another method. First, it,s too risky to relay on the person you perform for in order to put the card, face down, of course, inside the box, but, on the other hand, you need that as a misdirection to do the change. Second, it,s not easy at all to do the change without looking what you are doing. All in all, I do not recommend this one.

I haven't given a bad review on penguin, and I WON'T start now! :) This is a nice effect to own IF you get it from the cool box for only 11-12 dollars. If it wasn't for the coolbox then this is a overpriced effect. You can use the gimmick to do color changes, transpositions, appearances and much more. THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE THE BAD REVIEWS ARE JUST PLAIN LAZY! They need to find a way to make the gimmick a great one like I did. I do advise that the blank card can fall of the lanyard sometimes, but it is no big deal. If it is in the cool box, then buy it! If not, you should probably wait till it is.

I don't like it , too much to do and its just aahhh!, kinda sorry I got it , two stars only for efford , its not for me , 2stars for being able to make your own gaffs when the cards get old .

I paid with "Open Box" (not much) but I threw the money down the toilet.
The exchange of cards is done at a too unnatural.
The misdirection needed you can do with the explosion of a firecracker ...
The girl was obviously agree with the magician....
SUCK !!!!

When I first received it, I thought "I could have figured that out." However, after watchin the DVD, I really like the way they structured it and their handlings. They teach a couple different handlings, both very good. I like the first one the best, the same one as shown in the demo video. I also really like that the card is a signed card and a nice souvenir. I would suggest that you could end the effect by dating and adding your own signature to theirs and handing it out as a souvenir. I learned from another Penguin DVD (can't remember which), to have them write their name just below your finger (toward the top of the card). Then, at the end of the effect, you write a comma after their name, write a brief note (I write "Make your life magical" or "May your life be magical") and sign your name below. Now they go away with a nice souvenir with a personalized inspiration from you.

This is a good trick, but my only problem is that the card often falls off of the necklace. Other than that, the trick gets good reactions and is very easy to do.
