I like this, but I just can't give it a 4 or a 5... Its a very nice visual appearance of a card for
sandwich routines, but it wouldnt be practical to add it into your already existing routine, and its
not much better then something you can do already with sleight of hand... I personally would much
rather Twisted as a gimmick for card sandwich effects. Blends right into your pack, can do your
existing routines and still add a wicked visual element to your routine.

I would strongly recommend not buying this! The DVD is in French and the gimmicks are very
confusing, I strongly strongly advise not getting this! Unless you speak French.

The effect here is a great visual transformtion, and a nice addition to the host of sandwich
routines out there, BUT, there are a couple of places where you might easily flash the gimmick. The
DVD gives an alternate handling to cover one of these instances, but IMHO, it seems a little awkward
and less natural than the original handling.
The real crime here is the DVD. I don't think
it's the best instructional video, even if you speak French, but for an English speaker, it's a
nightmare. The disc doesn't have conventional DVD subtitles. Rather, it has additional chapters with
English subtitles burned into the video... and the subtitles are VERY awkwardly translated. What's
worse, you have to skip to a second menu screen to get to the English-subtitled version, and the
disc is incorrectly coded, so you can't just play through all of the English chapters; sometimes it
will skip back to a French-only chapter! For your reference, Titles 10-15 are the English-subtitled
ones.
There's a couple of minor card slights involved, so this is by no means a
"self-working" trick. Once you understand how the gimmick works--which isn't immediately
obvious--the handling is still very important. Also, because of the translation, you get NO patter
for this effect... at least not in English. I rather wish Penguin would take it upon themselves to
shoot their own video for this trick to post in the "Learn" section of MyPenguinMagic!
