Firstly, brand of the product used will not work in Europe because product is constructed
differently. There is a brand that works great. I think this info should be included. When you are
paying for an effect I do not think it's fair to have to experiment buying 4 different brands of ---
. This may be edited but the brand that works perfectly in Europe is Tw______'s.
The first time
I tried it, I inhaled ashes into my lungs. This was extremely unpleasant, and made me cough. There
should be a warning about this included. I bought download for the rising ash only, as I happen to
think sucking ashes into ones mouth is goofy or gross more than creepy.
Probably in better
taste to do swallowing ash with something other than "soul sucking" a dead persons initials.
Spectators may find it a bit offensive. (just my opinion)

As an ex-magician that can't stop buying new tricks, I seem to rarely find the time to follow
through to practice enough to perform my purchases. Some are simple to do but are not worth
performing and many are so complex in design that I doubt many past the inventor ever performs them.
Soul paper is as advertised in effectiveness and simpler to perform than I expected. I watched the
video then ran out and showed it to our guests. It was flawless and they were amazed! - thank you

Bought it and love it, but if you don't want to "suck it up" just do the Ashes-Rubbed-on-Arm trick
for the reveal. Well worth the price!

This trick was worth $9 but if the price had been any more I would have been disappointed, the
gimmick was nice, the tutorial was clear, but this has to be set up ahead of time and you have to
have everything together and with you ahead of time, this is a solely party trick, otherwise great
trick!

This is a VERY nice trick, very straightforwardly (is that a word) explained, and well worth the
money. You may have what you need in the house, or you may have to make a trip to the grocery
store, but the simplicity of this effect translates into a HUGE reaction from the audience.
I will be doing this one every chance I get.
The "bonus effect" was worth the price of
the download; I will use that to predict FOUR names, and is a technique I was not aware of before
now. (cryptic, yes, sorry, but trust me, if you don't know it already you will use it).

Initials are "divined" using a classic mentalism "power."
The flying paper can
be found in everyones kitchen.
Swalling the ashes is cool, but he advises not to do very often.

• Personal Warning:
I`d strongly recommend you don't speaking about dead relatives.. Come on, you guys can do better
than that! Tell them to write down the initials of someone they love and imagine their future
together or anything, I don't know! Just forget about the dead relatives presentation, ok? I
wouldn`t enjoy something soul-sucking my grandma.

I was disappointed with this download. I judge the trailer to be misleading in that there is a huge
jump cut between the person showing the initials and the paper rising. Presumably this is because
the method of obtaining the info is so widely known that it would affect sales if the full
performance was shown. But apart from masking the method of peeking the initials this cut also
implies that the paper used to rise is that used to write on, and also suggests that the paper which
rises appears as normal paper. This is not the case.
The affect will gain favour with some
because of the theme which, though slightly tasteless, is strong. The download does carry warnings
about offending people's sensibilities and also about the health hazards of repeatedly swallowing
ash.
I prefer the original which was a burnt and restored tissue. The burnt tissue rose in the
air and you grabbed the ashes and produced the restored tissue. Less histrionic of course.

This was very easy to do, and it was indeed with ordinary things I had at home. Usually products
that include fire and floating objects are best left to the professionals, but this is definitely
something that an 8 year old can master with little practice! (It does have fire though, so adult
supervision may be wise) A truly unique trick that you can do in many different ways to suit your
style. The patter and your presentation skills will make this a reputation maker! Well worth the
money and you get instant download gratification!

Ok, I'm at a party, got bored, logged on penguin magic, found this trick. Did the instant download,
found out the common thing to use, they had it here, looooong story short she picked her dead dog, I
got kicked out cause it freaked her out....8:50 pm.

For awhile now I have been kicking around a plot idea and looking for the right effect to bring the
meaning to it - this is it! I am a mentalist with one toe into the bizare. What you are getting is
the secret of how to make your own soul paper - I would never had guessed. Simple to make and
inexpensive. You are also shown the basics of a center tear but there are better methods for
obtaining information and Rick elludes to the different methods. If you have never performed a
center tear this is a perfect effect to learn. I would make two suggestions. First be very careful
when asking for a desceased persons name this can be very emotional and should never be presented in
a glib fashiion. Those who have performed living and dead tests know what I am talking about. To
get maximum impact it should not be presented along with card tricks and other magic - it will
dilute the overall effect. This is a stand alone serious peice or part of a bizare or mentalisim
routine. Not saying you can't perform this in other venue's - it is just so good why not go for max
impact.
