I am an enormous fan of Marcus Eddie. His thinking is excellent, his personality is friendly, and
his teaching is thorough. When I saw the demo for this effect, I knew immediately I had to add it
to my cart.
I just received this the other day and immediately made my "gimmick". I
practiced for maybe an hour or so and then showed it to a bunch of friends and family and they were
blown away. It was priceless. With that said, I have a few issues with this purchase:
1)
I found myself a little bit nervous to let the spectator handle the card case. This was probably my
paranoia only because not a single person I showed it to had a clue about what was going on in their
hand.
2) A bigger concern and somewhat of a big let down was that the product didn't really
come with anything other than a flattened card case. The advertisement and marketing claims that
this comes with supplies but that really is very misleading. Not that the supplies needed to make
the gimmick are hard to find. They can be found anywhere for just a few bucks. You may even have
them lying around already, especially if you're a magician, but I felt a little bit "underwhelmed"
by the package contents.
In no way should that detract you from making the purchase. The
effect is absolutely stunning and layman have no clue how you do it. Everyone I tried it on...well,
their jaws just dropped. I heard gasps. They were confuzzled beyond belief.
I would have
given this 5 stars if the product came with the necessary supplies. Other than that, add this to
your cart before it becomes on backorder. It's something you can put into your act right away with
very little practice. There is virtually no sleight-of-hand involved.
Another great
product, Marcus. Keep it coming!

I've really got mixed reviews about this item. The method is clever, but I get real pissed when the
product is missing most of the props and also when I have to go out and shop around for items. Come
on guys, how hard is it to include a few rubber bands?? You also have to destroy two new card boxes
to make up this effect. They do include one box, but that box doesn't match the ones here in Canada.
I'm giving it low marks because I'm not going to make this, and I've decided to give it a
magician friend who likes 'this sort of thing'.

Seriously, I can't believe that this did not get all 5-star reviews. Marcus, my hat is off to you.
How the hell did you come up with this? It's absolute GENIUS!! The gimmick is natural looking, so
much so that you can place it in the spectator's hand without fear of detection. There are no angle
problems because, with correct handling, the gimmick is invisible. I was LMAO while watching the
explanation, because it is that good and that devious. The effect is so good that I couldn't wait
to build the gimmick. This is so direct. There is no counting down to a certain number, blah, blah,
blah. The spectator chooses any card and BAM! It matches the predicted card every time. It's like
The Grail, but without counting down to the card. It's easy to perform and easy to reset. As for
those who complained about the supplies not included, any real magician will have the needed
supplies lying around the house. Seriously, you don't have rubber bands, glue and card boxes?? And
you are not destroying card boxes. You are constructing a gimmick out of card boxes, thus making
the card boxes much more useful. You make the gimmick once and you have an amazing effect that can
be repeated over and over. I've liked every Marcus Eddie effect that I've purchased, but I'm giving
this 5 stars TWICE. To sum it up, WOW, WOW, WOW!! ADD TO CART!!

This is a pretty good idea and its not hard to do. I give it three stars for the deception in
advertising. It says it comes with a DVD and "supplies." But actually it comes with a DVD and
"supply." What is sent with the DVD for you to make this gimmick is not all it takes to assemble the
gimmick, but is only part of what is needed. Its not too hard to come up with what else is needed to
make the gimmick, but I feel it all should have been provided, and I base that on the statement that
you get "supplies" with the DVD. So, I think everything but the glue stick should have bee included
with the supplies. With that said, I wouldn't let that stop you from making the purchase. You are
told to let the spectator hold the gimmick during the performance, but that is risky for a couple of
reasons which will become clear when you see it, and after the production of their card, you
definately cannot let the gimmick be examined. With that said, buy Marcus' idea, because it is
clever, get what is sent with it, round up the rest to make it complete, and go for it.

I doubt I will perform this except for friends and family. The gimmick is a bit fragile, fair amount
set up is required, and the gimmick is arts and crafty. Not a negative by any means, just not up my
alley. Devious, deceptive and wonderful. So creative and effective that I am
Giving it high
stars despite my thoughts of returning it.

but the procedure here does not flow cleanly. Interesting gimmick...but over complicated for the
effect...and there are cleaner presentations of an open prediction.

Great other then you have to make the gimmick and the gimmick needs a lot of stuff

I do not know if I can not make things well or what...but there is a lot of set up and stuff you
have to make to make this trick work. You have to make the items perfect and they are fragile...He
kinda rushes though how to make the gimmick....Maybe it is just me but I spent about 2 hours making
the gimmick and it really did not work well...I like Marcus Eddie magic this one fell short...for
the price I got nothing with it..You need to get almost everything...

The effect is really great, but it's a bit too much gimmicky to my taste ( I still will test it, I
guess).
And what the others said is really true : it's a bit pricy for what you receive and
you only get ONE "supply" but you have to "destroy" two boxes (well, one if you really use this
trick).
