The trick is really visual and fantastic the gimmick you receive is very high quality. And it can be
adapted with any currency.
It's explained really well and taught by Dan Harlan.
The routine is really impressive and fantastic and the change is really very visual

The gimmick works very well, the change is extremely visual. It looks as good as in the video. The
gimmick comes ready to use, as soon as you add a little extra thing on it which doesn't take much
time or effort.
However, I will include some ideas that I found helpful but were not mentioned
on the DVD.
To begin with, choose a bill that matches the colour of the playing card that comes
in the package as much as possible. It will hide the gimmick better in performance.
Secondly, it
is very likely that after you make the gimmick some parts of it are exposed after the change. While
there is a suggestion in the DVD of how to make this look better I found out that placing the
gimmick under a pile of heavy books for a few hours makes it better and then the change will look as
smooth as in the video here.
Lastly, if you want to reveal a different card every time work on
your routine and it is possible. I give a quick example.
Bill is borrowed by spect. card is
freely chosen and signed, secretly perform a mercury card fold, show the "borrowed bill", change it
into a folded card, draw attention to the deck and reveal the bill among the cards and during this
time switch the gimmick with the originally signed and folded card.
After watching the DVD you
will see how you can apply this idea to the main routine described.

I have been playing with this for a few days now and without question if handled right its a very
visual trick. The big plus is the way it just seems to "pop" from bill to card. The reason I could
not give it 5 stars however are:
1) You cannot give out the card (and its risky to throw it on
the table as is done in the demo video)
2) You do have to watch your angles
3) Bringing a
bill into play on a card trick seems a little odd (well I guess magicians are odd!) I actually like
doing this with a change bag also used.
4) I am concerned about the gimmicks' durability. In
only two days of doing this (and I may have practiced it to much but hey you have to practice
anything good in magic), the card is already looking frazzled at the seams where you bend it. It
seems to me to that the more I use it the more the gimmick may show something.
Don't get me
wrong this is a great trick but there are areas to address and getting replacement gimmicks is going
to be one of them.

When the bill become a card, it makes a strange noise.
But trailer deliverately hides the
noise.

I love the Trick - HOWEVER . . without giving anything away - I can say that the gimmick is halfway
created for you - then you need to work on it a bit to get it ready. My gimmick seemed fine at
first - but by the time I finished finalizing the gimmick . . it would no longer close all the
way. It is an ingenious device. However the mechanism is very delicate. I can still do the trick
- just have to watch the angles and hold the card very securely once the Bill-to-Card change has
occurred.
BTW - you will need to purchase a special Deck. But the effect - even with these
issues - is so shocking and amazing that I cannot remove more than one Star.

I have bought a lot of things throughout my career. I first did put an order at penguin in 2005! Of
course not always is a trick great, however Money Shot here is just beyond words. I was extremly
looking forward receiving and performing it. It looks so insanely visual. It really does. So what
makes this a garbage product?
The gimmick is a single, standard playing card (!!!) with a little
extra to it, I cannot further go into detail about. If you are not new to magic, you can already
imagine how long a damn single standard (e.g. non plastic, or hardened in anyway) playing card
lasts? You haven have to crease the card multiple times. Then you have to wear the gimmick in your
pocket until you are ready to perform. Have you have had a playing card in your pocket for a whole
evening??? Can you imagine what this card will look like after one or two evenings of performing? If
the gimmick was something to attach to a card so you can replace it and always be sure to have a
fresh crisp card/gimmick...but not in here.
But wait, there is more! In order to perform it like
you have seen it, you have to actually destroy money. Thats right. No mentioning of this anywhere
before you bought it. For countries with non 1$ Bills it is extremly annyoing! You think I am done?
Hell, no!
One of the more interesting routines on the explanation is having the spectator
borrowing you a bill. Then they teach you how to do the trick with their money and leave out the
entire ending! I am not joking. You place their money into your pocket (!), do the routine which
leads to having a money bill changed to a playing card and then they end the trick. Did it ever
occur to the creators that the spectator would like to have their frickkin money back? They leave it
up to you how you get out of this. They do not even mention it! And of course you cannot simply
reach into the same pocket again and grab their bill and say: oh by the way here is your bill...so
have fun working it out for yourself.
One more? Sure. Once you put Money Shot into your cart and
buy it there is no option of which color of the gimmick you want. I got a damn blue one. I never use
blue cards in any of my acts. So what now? After all the BS I went through with this trick I am not
even able to perform it properly because they randomly send you a gimmick, weather it fits into your
routines or not. I cannot believe this. The trailer was showing a red deck of cards and whole time,
every single shot of the gimmick it is red! And I get a damn blue one. Just wow...
Oh hey there
is even another point. They do NOT teach how to make this ridiculously expensive gimmick yourself.
Thats right. You receive the most fragile gimmick ever and no instructions how to make on yourself
after this single card is looking like crap. 25 bucks for a single gimmick and if this is done you
have to figure it out by yourself how to reproduce it, or you buy a new one for 25 bucks + shipping.
I am so p#ssed about this. Unbelievable. One of the very worst effects I have ever bought. I
totally feel ripped off!

The trick looks great...from a distance, and in a place with dark lighting. My gimmick was not
placed on straight, so my bill looks a bit crooked and does not close properly, and so I had to
shave off other areas to compensate (you'll understand what I mean when you get your gimmick).
Dan Harlan is great...but the video is a download. For this price, I would have appreciated a
DVD with perhaps a spare gimmick, as this will most likely wear out after a few weeks of heavy
performing.
I hate sounding pessimistic about this trick, but I will only use this when I'm
entertaining children or adults who are drinking because the sober ones just laughed when I
performed it, but, again, this may be because of the state of my gimmick.

GET THIS EFFECT NOW. If I could give it a million stars I would.
I absolutely love visual
effects, and this is one of the best. They're so awesome and in-your-face that you can't ignore it.
This one definitely delivers!
The gimmick is genius and you can tell by the audience's
response how baffling it is to a full audience, parlor or street magic. Mickael gives many different
possibilities for you to perform this beautiful piece of magic, and you should!
You can
play with the gimmick with or without a deck really.. Especially if you can mentally force a card!
Seriously.. Top notch stuff!!! I'm going to add this to my Envylope act as a finisher, because it is
a STRONG one!!!

My gimmick broke as I was preparing it. $26 down the drain. The gimmick just does not hold up and in
my case never even got it finished. I hope others have better luck.

I wish I felt this way about all the magic I purchase! But this is one of the first effects I can
truly say I will carry around with me at all times, no matter what. Worth every penny! Once you
customize the gimmick to your liking, the handling variations are limitless. I even came up with
two more very visual handlings that I will be making available to the creator of this effect this
November. From beginners to pro's, this one is really worth the $$$ and practice effort! Thank
You!!!
