Hmmmmmmmm I don't know how I feel about this. I received it and while it is visual and interesting,
I find that might have more negatives then positives.
There is a "Papaercrane moment".
Meaning you have to assemble the gimmick (Not hard and they give you material for one) and modify
the other items so they will work as they require a certain property. Lets say normal AMERICAN coins
will not work as is. You will need something that is not provided, but is really common, and most
probably have it in your garage or kitchen junk drawer.
Then there is a clothing
restriction. No Jacket BUUUUTTTTT......You need to have a wallet. Of a certain color. In a certain
position. On a table.
Now, to be fair, Jason explains how to do it without a wallet, but
the main point he makes SEVERAL times is that you need a LOUD environment. And have to be in a
certain position and have a certain colored table.
Then there is the knack. This effect is
not an out of the box kinda thing. This is definitely a knacky effect. Two parts are knacky. I did
take the time to make the main part of the gimmick and try it out. Jason clearly states that you
need to practice to get the gimmick to do what it needs to do, and I fully believe him. There is a
part of the gimmick that if put together wrong, will make what needs to happen not happen.
I'll say that coins (or other FLAT objects) would be best for this effect and in that regard I
think this is an okay effect. If you want to do the other stuff you see in the demo, there are a few
things to consider.
All in all I am a little on both sides of the fence. BUT for a right
time, right environment this could play pretty well. I see potential for improvement in the gimmick
and might play with it some more to find out if my thoughts are correct.
Not so much a
thumbs down, but definitely not a thumbs up. More just a middle of the road effect, only due to
restrictions.
Just my 2 cents

I love penguin magic let me start there. I should of known better about buying on an impulse
especially with sans-mind products. the video is really not what it' is another edited to good to be
true effect from sans
minds over priced as well. I should of known most of there products are
FLUFF hook line and sink by making a well edited video. You have to make a gimmick and need to have
something else on you to ditch. cant really do it close up and angles are terrible.
Very
disappointed

I can honestly say I will NEVER use this. Don't be decieved by the demo video. The gimmick (which
has to be made) is dodgy at best, and VERY risky. You are left dirty, and have to "clean up". It is
angle sensitive & cannot be done standing up. You literally have to "stick the landing" in order for
this trick to work.
They suggest other ways to perform this, but actually show NONE OF THE
WAYS THEY SUGGEST.
Not to mention the creator says in the tutorial, "Make sure you are in a
loud environment when you do this..." I mean COME ON!
If you are looking for something
visual that transposes to TV/video...sure.
But this is not practical AT ALL.
PASS.
PASS. PASS.

This is a great trick in the hands of Jason Yu, but I feel the video edits create a deceiving
perception of this trick. This is not something that can be done as a walk-around situation. In
Mr.Yu's own words the ideal place is a loud dark environment and for a good reason. I think this is
a great trick if you are sitting at a bar or at a dinner table but does not translate well when
standing. The clip of imprinting the Rubik's cube or goldfish looks great but again sitting and a
loud environment makes it doable. Like I say it is a fantastic trick in the right hands but may be
limited to the right situation.

So, I feel that this needs to be said because others are having the same issue. Yes you need to
construct a gimmick. The DVD only gives you the items you need that you probably do not already have
and are hard to find otherwise. It's not hard to make, but you do have to make it. The main issues
with this trick is that it is EXTREMELY angly. They pretty much have to be looking straight down on
the bill and your arm has to be diagonally across your wallet. (Must be lack and is not supplied.)
Also, it will take A LOT of practice to perfect and if the gimmick does not stay in place then you
are ruined. So, if the gimmick stays where it should, your aim is perfect, and you have the right
distance between the bill and your wallet, and the gimmick does what it supposed to, meaning you
have mastered the knack, then this is a perfect illusion given your audience does not see what you
do not want them too. And yes, there is a big chance they will unless you use the method without
your wallet.

This effect is Ok. The dvd production is top notch.
The effect is extremely angle sensitive.
This is not a worker in my opinion. The trick could be made much much better with a little
creativity. You cannot do this standing up. You need a wallet or table. Please do your research
before buying. I should have bought Bandwidth instead. 3 stars because it works but only in the
right situation. Just like he performs it live in the demo. You are going to want to do it for a
few people positioned in front of you at an angle.

First off I am a big fan of Penguin Magic but I only have lukewarm feelings about SansMinds'
products. I had some reservations about buying this, then even more after seeing some of the first
reviews on IMPRINT. I still decided to give this a chance-so off went my order to Penguin.
Yes-
There should be some consideration to angles. Yes-In some cases you may not end clean. And yes- It
does take some practice. Hey guys that is a fact when performing many great effects and routines.
Having said that, I will admit that it is not a perfect walk around style trick.....But I
personally stay away from strolling magic anyway so this is not a negative in my book.
There
is a rather clever gimmick to construct and it is reusable and very durable. After taking the time
to practice some key moves necessary for the illusion, I found myself quite comfortable performing
this. I also realized that this could be the killer ending to one of my already existing routines!
I will use this and recommend IMPRINT. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is that it may
not be everyone's cup of tea although it is mine!
My thoughts have always been that, although
labeled as, there is no such thing as a "Self working magic trick" if it gets the practice and
attention it deserves.

It's a awesome trick I love it but the gimmick you have to make it and it's not that hard to make
but it won't come out all perfect. Awesome trick tho love it!

I looked so cool in the video. However you can't perform it anywhere practical. You have to have no
one on your sides and it's best if everyone its above the bill and you below the spectators. You
also need it to be performed in near darkness. You also need to make a PERFECT cut out of the bill.
I've since stopped purchasing products here because the majority of products you buy you
have to construct yourself and if you are not that handy you'll never get it right.I would gladly
pay more for a product where the gimmick is manufactured for you.
Also the videos are great
but in no way represent how to perform the trick under normal conditions. Granted it's an amazing
effect but only for the camera NOT for a live crowd.

The effect in the video ad is WOW, in real life it is almost that amazing, however it takes a lot of
practice and is severely limited in when and how you can perform this.
It packs small, can
fit in your wallet, no sleeves needed. It is however very angle sensitive and only works really well
with a coin / small flat object. Need to be seated -- Standing or walking around possible, but in
reality, not practical.
Its basically an amazing effect, but a bit underdeveloped. Happy
with it, but not as good as I expected.
