I love penguin magic let me start there. I should of known better about buying on an impulse
especially with sans-mind products. the video is really not what it' is another edited to good to be
true effect from sans
minds over priced as well. I should of known most of there products are
FLUFF hook line and sink by making a well edited video. You have to make a gimmick and need to have
something else on you to ditch. cant really do it close up and angles are terrible.
Very
disappointed
Actually usually their products are pretty good but take time and effort to perform properly. Just because an effect has limitations and needs practice does make it a bad effect, it just makes people not willing to put in the effort bad magicians. If you need a trick to just work out of the box you're not really much of an illusionist.
Slackerking, if he didn't like it he probably has reasons for it, you are NOBODY to say that he is a bad ILLUSIONIST, if he didnt like it it's ok every person is different he can still be a great magicion, are you from sandsmind arent you?
Wow slackerking, that's really impressive of you to have the remarkable ability to take someone else's inventory! Who appointed you judge and jury? Oh, maybe you're on the step just below the "Man" himself. That explains it......I bet if you wrote a review of yourself it would be flawless.
Actually Putaca, if you can't pull off a trick like this you certainly can't be a great magician. I guarantee you that any moderately good magician could do this effect and blow peoples minds. Too many people think because they can perform a trick that that makes them a magician. It doesn't, it just makes us hobbyists.
And Sipco, it doesn't take a genius to figure out. Being able to ditch an item is about the first thing a magician should learn. The reason I commentrd is because reviews like this don't di the prodct justice. And no I have nothing to do with Sansminds other than I've ourchased many of their effects.
This is a beautiful illusion, it will take some practice and audience management which any real magician would be willing to do. It's not for teenagers trying to impress their friends with a self working illusion. If that gets your feelings hurt, sorry the worlds a rough place.
WOW...tough crowd! Relax people...but you did give me a good laugh. Thank you for that.
I agree , be weary of anything sansmind (except for vapr) , their demo trailers are way over the top , are deceptive , and leave crucial moments out ... Been burned too many times , no thanks.
You can only complain if you are a professional magician.
sure if you find magic a fun hobby and like to practice it that's fine but its not really impacting your job/career. If this is your job you have all rights to complain. sans minds does have a bad reputation but most of their products just need to be used in a certain way and only people that are willing to practice and practice and practice should really buy their products. though I'll agree their promo videos are usually a bit different.
I'm late to the party here: 4 years since the most recent comment. But I'm really not here to comment on the product. I'm here to comment on the comments.
I'm not a professional magician. I don't do shows or public performances. I like to show some tricks here and there to family members, friends, coworkers. One on one. My sleight of hand skills are non-existent. My dexterity is very limited. Some people here might tell me to just hang it up, forget about doing magic altogether for anybody. But I like it. So do the people I show tricks to. When I purchase something, I look for ease of performance, self-working, no sleight of hand. I'll be the first to admit that a trick performed with minimum gimmickry and maximum skill is usually a trick that will knock me on my butt. I wish I had those skills. But I don't. I won't give up something I like doing that I can manage to do with the kind of materials that suit me.
I don't care if I never get to be like Shin Lim or anyone of his caliber. I don't care if I never get to be like Slackerking or a serious hobbyist. I'm already admitting I don't have the skills that "good" magicians should have. I don't need anyone to tell me I'll never be an accomplished magician. I don't intend to be. I won't give up magic because I'm not, or never will be, a pro. Does everyone who goes bowling need to bowl in the high 200's? Does everyone who golfs need to consistently be at 4 above par or better? Let the next person who tells me I'm a bad magician also tell me something they enjoy doing that they don't do professionally.
See you on the golf course. Or at the bowling alley.
