Possibly worth it at the $5 I paid in the cool box but a rip off at $10. Creators have to stop
overpricing their effects.
First of all note that you are going to have to buy a few of the
items online and wait for them to come. I've never seen one of the items you need for sale anywhere
near me.
Second, although I cant say for sure yet this seems like the type of effect you
would have to remake every few weeks and as the setup takes about ten minutes (although you'll get
faster with time)you're going to stop bothering after a few weeks.
Third, although its
meant for close up if anyone leans in they'll see how it works and people will want to lean in. Now
you could deal with this through audience management, I'm just letting you know its an issue.
Fourth, you start dirty and end dirty. Its okay if this is the only card effect you plan on
doing bugt otherwise it's annoying. Now there are ways to get around that but they're not so
elegant, nor are they taught, which is just sloppy and irresponsible on Arnel's part.
Fifth, Arnel is super boring and what on earth is with that rooster in the background?
All that being said it is a really cool effect when you do get everything down. If you are okay
with the issues mentioned above and it is still in cool box, by all means get it.

Ok, I like the trick, the gimmick is very solid, BUT it takes wayyyyy to long to make and half the
stuff you need most people wont have.... So I recommend getting something else because this trick is
honestly just to hard to make and not worth the time...

Having trouble finding material for the gimmick....Ive tried Acetate sheets (varying thickness) but
these are not working - they bend and rise off the card making it very obvious. I'd love to know
what everyone is using since he doesnt really say in the video....Things like that should have clear
descriptions and even links to products would be very nice.

Pros: Looks dang cool. Reminiscent of a trick by Ron Jaxon called V.C.R., but with this gimmick, you
can seemingly handle it much more fairly.
Cons: Chances are you won't be making this after
you download the video. The supplies required likely isn't available in your drawer either. You'll
need to make a trip to the arts/craft store, and there's one additional gimmick required (the one
that starts with an 'i') that might be tough hard to find.

saw this in the coolbox and checked it out for the hell of it...
It`s really visual and fun
for audiences for shure, but there is a setup so this is best used as an opener, then go off saying
something like "He`s pretty good for a stickman, but i know some tricks as well..." and then go into
your walkaround/closeup set.
This is a good trick but a bit too "cute" for my repertoire,
but in the rigth hands this can be gold...
If you do kids stuff i would recommend this
:)

Cost me around $10 to buy the material for the gimmick. I would say this would be great to show to
kids and not for adults unless your in a place were the lights are dim. Overall its worth it!
Just watched the video, Wow, the impact of single card animation is great.
You get so much from
what you have to do to get this effect to work. Minimal work for an amazing effect.
You will have to get some materials easily found at one of several stores near you for a low price.
Can't wait to perform this for others people.
It's good explained, & what's really important that it's actually a practical trick.
