This is a great routine to carry in your wallet, BUT it will take you awhile to get it there. This is
not a simple gimmick to make properly: as evidenced by the fact that Eugene does not make one in the
instructional video, he only shows you pieces and tells you what to do! And you DO have to pay
attention. At one point he says you need two $20's and one $1 for the trick. You actually need TWO
$1's. Also, it WILL cost you an additional $20.00 to make, on top of what you pay Penguin, because
you have to cut up a twenty dollar bill. The $20 can NOT be turned in to your bank for replacement
because you cut up the serial number. You also have to cut up a $1 bill, but that CAN be turned in
because its serial number is not damaged and more than 3/4 of the bill remains.
Eugene does a
LOT of talking on the video. He also does things out of order, at least in my opinion: the very last
thing he shows you is how to make the gimmick. I found this hard to assemble perfectly, though it is
very well thought out as far as getting lines and pictures to "line up". And if you do mess it up,
it WILL cost you another $20 to try again! So work VERY carefully while assembling this. There are
no hard moves involved, but it will take some practice. Good luck

I have also kept this in my wallet since the 90s when Eugene showed it to me in a private lesson
while I lived in Chicago. I have gone through all the iterations as well. It kills. Just get it. The
cost is so low for an effect of this quality by one of the great living masters of our art. You will
not be disappointed.

This will not work with any other currencies. It has to be US dollars because of the color on the
bills.
But to keep a positive mind then I will end this by saying that it's very good if
you are from the states.

I remember purchasing a pamphlet Eugene wrote many years ago, The Craft of Magic. Was great
reading, there was this effect called Slow Mo Bill at the end of the booklet, it seemed interesting
so I put it together and started performing it, much to my surprise it was quote powerful to my
onlookers. It was a staple for years with me. Then the currency changed and I moved on to other
stuff. So I see this here on Penguin and I give it a go to rediscover this simple but powerful
effect. This new 2015 version is actually as clever as they come. Love it. It's now 30 years later,
back into my presentations. Still as powerful as it ever was. Eugene as usual explaine's in greet
detail how to put this together, and perform it to great effect.
They don't call them classic's
for nothing.

This video is excellent, Burger covers every possible detail from presentation to construction to
history in a clear easy to follow manner.
The cons:
- The prop will cost $ to build
- The prop will, over time, wear down. In fact Eugene states that he has been using his prop
for 6 months and it is time to make a new one.
- This translates into at least $ a year in prop
cost for this effect.
The pros:
- The effect is engaging and direct, a perfect pocket
trick.

If one is going to spend money on upgrading their Magical Knowledge, I would strongly suggest that
unless you are illiterate, ( cant read) then spend the money to get His Book "Mastering the Art of
Magic".. its 228 pages, just stocked full of things you should know.. here is the link..
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S11543.... I would have to say, that hearing Eugene's voice is
rather inspiring, and My Friend Anthony, who is pictured with Eugene in this teaser, is truely a
wizard as well. !

Although Slow Motion Bill Change is documented on pp.193-195 in Mastering the Art of Magic, this
updated method is worth the download as the change looks better and it is designed to work with the
modern bills.

Absolutely great, and most of it happens in the spectators hand, which is always a plus. We just
have to be careful not to give the spectator the opportunity to examine the bill himself. (At the
end of the video, Mr. Burger invites questions via email, but never supplies his email address.
Anyone have it?)
