The lecture is good and fairly visual, but Menny does not demo the entire Self Bending Paperclip
routine and does not teach his impromptu version from the DVD as promised in the ad and the trailer.
Tornimation is a different type of T&R in a good way. It may not be a full restoration, but
that really doesn't matter because it is fairly visual and ends with a nice give away. Though he
does teach a great torn and restored bill.
One Handed, was nice and worth learning. I also
like the fact that he taught a few different ways to do it and as a bonus he teaches a great rubber
band threw arm.
The lecture is worth the price of admission and you do learn plenty of
interesting things, but I was kind of disappointed that I wasn't able to see the one thing I was
interested in seeing.

I have been subscribing to Penguin Magic Live for almost a year and half and I think this was one of
the well-prepared lectures.
Some lecturers, despite their reputation or skills just doesn't
put enough "effort" into the lecture. Some of them may not even perform live but just pulls out
some mere "ideas" and "tools" and leaves the students to decide on how to present and perform. It
is very hard to utilize a newly learned "tool" or "idea" and build a whole new act without any
"examples" or "benchmarks" from the actual creator.
In that sense I think Menny's lecture
was very good as he has tried to present all the acts as if he was actually performing to his
clients.
Also, he has come prepared with several lecture aids (such as enlarged version of
certain gimmick to clearly demonstrate the construction) to maximize the learning experience.
One downside is that some of his lecture was mere demonstration and explanation of his products
(thus you need to buy the product in order to perform them), but I think it was still worth it as he
very well demonstrated his products, so you would not need to worry about "would this product be
worth buying?" kind of question
Thank you Menny for a great lecture!

If I get one thing out of a lecture that I use, then I think it's been worthwhile.
For me,
it is "Hollow". His tip on the hole puncher was excellent; I no longer have to worry about
accidentally punching a hole through the gimmick. Oh who am I kidding ... I got something out of
each trick/routine.
"Tornimation" reminded me of Titanas' "Slide" but Tornimation ends up
with a more improbable object in the end.

Great lecture.
But it would've been good if he tought more tricks that you can actually do
without buying a gimmick (Hollow, T&R card...)

As a former professor I am often critical of he poor teaching quality of many magic DVD's and
downloads. However I never have that problem with any of Menny Lindenfeld's explanations and this
lecture is no exception. He includes a ton of real world worker material, all taught in a crisp,
clear, thorough and systematic way. He even goes so far as to include a section on his thinking
process and how other magicians can utilize his insights in their own creative work. The metal
bending section alone is worth twice the price of the lecture, but he includes a whole lot more. The
serious magician simply can't go wrong with this lecture from one of the true masters of modern
magic and mentalism.

Menny is the next in the line of mind warp kings the things he teaches are important and well worth
the price
For me the best part of this lecture was the metal bending. Lindenfeld has some excellent moves and
shares them, along with practical preparation methods. I will likely incorporate some of
Lindenfeld's metal bending methods into my metal bending routine. I will not be using any of the
other effects presented (personal preference), but I think others may find them useful if they are
comfortable with the gimmicks.
Great lectur by menny, his teaching and lectur ability are amazing!!really recomended!!!
A combination of innovative routines, new handlings for old routines (one-hand get ready for poor
man's handcuffs, very clean torn and restored bill), thoughts on the creative process, spoon bending
tips... and more. All explained clearly and with a charming manner. Well worth my time and money!
Thanks Menny.
