Although I genuinely appreciate a great deal, I am usually very cautious of inexpensive downloads.
Generally, you get what you pay for.
That being said, "Torn and Amazed" is an easy working
trick that can be learned in just a few minutes. No crazy sleights or flourishes. Your "bang for the
buck" value is high i.e. it's worth the $14.95!!! Like I said, it's pretty simple...and the
responses are fantastic.
Michael does a great job in the d/l. He speaks clearly and teaches the
trick thoroughly. Plus, he shows you a couple of additional presentations/variations that you can
use to keep the trick "fresh".
A gimmick is required but not to worry...making the gimmick is
as simple as "ripping paper"...hehe.
The video even tickled my memory about the "wallpaper gag",
but that fun subject is for another time.

This is one of the best torn and restored Cards ever it's easy to do the Gimmick is easy to make and
it needs very little pocket space. I did it for about 20 People till now and the reactions where
crazy.

This will take a lot of practice to pull off. I bought this as it said it was a new concept, well,
the torn wallpaper gag has been around for a very long time I also do it every where I go. Mr Ammar
showed this to us at a lecture here in the UK many years ago. Just a bit disappointed at least it
wasn't very expensive.

With any good effect there is a gimmick or some poetic license unfortunately
CONS
-Instant
reset possible with addition purchase of a certain deck other than that not only slim possibilty but
only a handful of times
- stands up to very little scrutiny, wouldn't use in a crowd where
people were focused on the tear
-If there ever was a chance to borrow a deck you couldn't do
this effect
Pros
-Cheap gimmick to make should have items laying around
-Sleights are
not very hard to learn
- video is detailed and helpful
-Demo hides nothing
Conclusion
Another example of an effect that has a small target audience that will use it
often. Good starting effect for a Sleights demomstration yet cant be looked closely by anyone so not
good in crowds. Another overpriced instant download that promises more than it delivers,we know
everything is an illusion but there should be some truth in advertising.save your money for a better
effect this has very little usability

Pretty disappointed with this. Even my Daughter from a couple of yards away could spot what was
going on. Definitely would be burned if I did this in my close up set.
Not a patch on torched
and restored.

I bought this right away because it was Michael Ammar. He never disappoints me with any of his
tricks and dvd. This one did not disappoint me as well. (It is exactly what you see in the
trailer)This is an interesting concept and an idea. It's practical and I think I could use it
somewhere in my routine. The trick does require some sort of gimmick just like many other torn and
restore type of tricks. However the gimmick is the easiest thing you can make. This trick does not
require any difficult sleight of hands. For the intro price this I would recommend you guys to buy
it as soon as you can!

I have many of Michael Ammar's videos, and this does not disappoint!
Absolutely brilliant
and outstanding torn & restored magic trick. Great as an opener to set the stage and hard to top so
great as a closer. You will make this an absolute staple of your routine.
I am building up
your expectations, and I don't think you will be disappointed! Well worth the investment. I buy a
lot of magic from Penguin and I am always somewhat skeptical of purchases investigating thoroughly
before making a purchase. This was just a perfect buy.
WARNING - If you are a complete
beginner magician you might want to wait a bit until you get a little experience under your belt. I
have given shows and have spent years in practicing magic - so Mike Ammar's Illusion is right up my
alley. I would say this trick is best suited for the advanced beginner. And if you classify yourself
as an advanced beginner you will be absolutely thrilled with this purchase!
