So why exactly would you want to put a cigarette up your nose? Well, I guess some people are into
geek magic. If that's your thing, this would fit right in, I suppose. But I think those guys are
more likely to be shoving nails up their nose, not cigarettes. Hey, if someone already hasn't come
up with a nail gaff based on the same principle as this cigarette gaff, that might be a good idea.
It might be obvious, but in order to do this effect, you need to be wearing sleeves.
Generally not a problem, except in this genre, I don't often see geek performers wearing button-down
shirts and sports jackets. Maybe they should, since a well-dressed guy doing a geek act would be
even more disturbing than the same act from a guy in a t-shirt and torn jeans.
Even though
this sort of effect isn't my thing, it does do what it's meant to do effectively. However, be aware
that given the quality of the gimmicks you receive, the price seems very inflated. All you're
getting is a little plastic and a little elastic.

Altought this seems overpriced, the trick is very visual and the reactions are amazing. It's
something that can be berformed for a lot of people really close to you if you get to know how to
use it.
I highly recommend this!

I have reviewed many items here at Penguin, and all have been in depth evaluations neither
expressing overly positive or negative views. Because I am tired of all these reviews I see that say
'GREAT! i love it, very good dvd - made my mom jump!' Because it gives no detail at all and what
seems great for a beginner isn't necessarily the same for someone more experienced in actually
performing outside home as a professional.
Like most I was floored by the demo by Oz! Now I
know the secret I can't understand why it seemed so hard when it is now so clear! Firstly I am
willing to bet money that nobody will figure this out (so long as you have got it down as good as
Oz!) It is super simple BUT super sweet!
The effect is easy to have set-up at all times,
and instantly re-sets!!! You don't even have to perform it, just keep it on you in case at parties.
Hopefully the IT i am referring to doesn't give the game away too much. But i will say it is
something that is very practical and quite dreamy to a magician after impromptu (but simple)
gimmicks that offer a 'YOU ARE SATAN!' reaction.
So far, more than half the people to whom
I have shown this have concluded it was actually real and had no idea it was meant to be a magic
trick, expect to have people say 'Whoa, so when was the accident man.' instead of laugh in
entertainment.
But in order for this review to not be biased i must give cons... well... oh
to hell with it - i won't criticise something i know couldn't have been made any better!
As
for the price, pft, if you're a professional magician the won't break the bank and is nothing for
something like this which may very well have your name set in stone at any restaurant or pub.

When you get the gimmick it looks OK, but when you start to practiced with it you find a couple of
things that you have to work in.
I would not recommend that you buy it, use your money in
something different.
One last tip, this trick is not for SUPER CLOSE UP, I would say it can
be handled easier on stage.
This is a great gimmick to help improve the old gag but I don't recommend it. I find that in my own
experience just doing the simple pencil up the nose gag. If you don't know the trick then pick this
up and you'll have a better version than the original. The reason I don't like this one is because
it isn't impromptu. Don't get me wrong, the product is great but I find that the original does good
enough for me.
I wanted to perform this effect the moment I saw Criss Angel do it. It is an absolute stunner, very
visual, and easy to set up. Don't pass this by!! Add to cart!!
"Ha Ha, that's cool" is usually the reaction I get to this trick which pretty much sums it up- it
gets okay reactions but it won't blow anyone away. If you do cigarette magic I imagine this would
work well in your routine.
The post below has got to be my ex-wife.
When will she ever let me live and forget about me?
The trick is good but the gimmick is horrible! It is such a waste of time! Buy the time you get the
trick down with the gimmick
well
let me just say it is not worth it. You could be learning so much
more good material while you waste your time trying to get this gimmick down. The gimmick is also
not that good material. I can see it being sold at the dollar store! I recommend not getting this.
