I'm tired of buying tricks that look great in the promo video, but horrible in real life. When you
see the tutorial, you'll understand. You can perform this for someone with poor vision. Go to a
nursing home.
Also, I'm not sure about other packs, but when I opened the pack of bills they
sent, it smelled SO bad. I had to put them back in the plastic bag to contain the smell.
This
trick requires you to destroy money. This should be mentioned. It says "gimmicks included" and I
felt like this might be THE ONE to send me complete gimmicks, or at least really close to being
complete. I'm not good at arts and crafts, so this trick will go in my closet and die in there. I
know some of you will think I'm complaining, but I just feel swindled.
You also can't download
the tutorial video. You can watch it online.
I wish descriptions would be honest.
Like:
"You will have to make your own gimmick, but we supply you with the materials."
or
"It
doesn't look like it does in the video. Here's a picture of what it really looks like...."
or
"You will have to destroy real bills."
or
"You will have to purchase a few things to
create the gimmick. Here is a list:"

Let me just start by saying that the trick looks awesome. Seriously, whether it's in the trailer or
in real life, it does look like pure magic. However, I was overall disappointed by the trick for a
couple of reasons:
-The gimmick is most of the time visible. Perhaps I did it wrong, but it
felt like it was too visible in most cases
-You get 10 bills, which makes 20 possibilities as
they are printed back to back. The problem I have with this is that, if you live in France for
example, and you want to use both the 30 euro bill and the tab in French, you can't because they are
on the same bill.
-You will have to cut a bill in half, which can be a problem for some people
But what frustrates me the most is the production quality. For the price, you get 10
minutes of instructions. And you dont get any verbal explanation, these guys just don't speak. You
don't get a performance breakdown either, or some tips on the presentation. And to me, that's just
not enough. I mean, you can buy tricks for cheaper than that with 3 hours of instruction. Even 10
dollar tricks have more explanations than that. I was really expecting more from this trick...
I know some people won't agree with me, and that's fine. It's just my honest opinion. If you can
make it work for you, that's great. But I would not recommend it.

Many reviews have been submitted--read them before buying this. My quick recommendation is to buy
this CHEAP from the Open Box (like, $6 or less). It comes with a lot of gimmicked bills and the
"secret" material, but the instructional video sucks and the "secret" is visible when you perform
the effect.
The ONLY way I will perform this is if I'm in a dark room and my spectator has
been drinking. Maybe this will work for young kids, but, again, the room should not be brightly lit.
The kids don't have to be drinking. :)
I got this in the Open Box for really cheap, so I
won't be returning it, and it's rare to get a gimmick in Japanese Yen, so I'll keep it, but I doubt
I will ever perform this.

Ok, the video tutorial is just 10 minutes long, maybe it is no too deep in the explanation ( I have
found no problem to build the gimmick), it needs some time and practise to build the gimmick but it
is nothing impossible, all these things are true BUT the effect is realy amazing and it works in
real performance, that's why for me is a good trick, 4 stars just for the price, ten bucks less will
be perfect

This is an amazingly visual trick. But I only gave it 3 stars because I don't think it will work
for most. This is perfect for video magic. If you want to make a video that will make your friends
freak out, this is the trick for you. If you want to do it on a stage or performance space you can
control, then it also could work great, and be one of your favorite tricks.
But this is not
a table hopping worker like it looks like in the trailer....
I work in both stage, video
and walk around and it will only be in 2 of my venues

The idea is a great but this is not practical at all. If you like doing magic for the camera only
then this is great for that. To all the close up magicians I advise you stay away from this. The
gimmick is visible and there could be multiple flashes.

I am extremely annoyed by how unpractical this effect is for Australian Currency. I purchased this
product during the pre-order and have learnt that Penguin won't accept any returns on this product
even though it doesn't work at all for Australian currency.
So unless you live in the US,
UK or Japan (where currency can be creased and has no visible windows), DON'T buy this product. It
is incredibly over-priced and completely useless for me.

Great for video. Very visual. Instructions were tough to follow in my opinion due to language
barrier. It was close captioning for most part with video. I like the concept but this one went into
a drawer. I can't see myself performing this close-up although if I had a made gimmick, I would like
to try. Gimmick for me is too hard to create and I love the arts and crafts part of magic usually.
If you are into video magic and have patience with the video, then this might be for you. If not,
there are other visual options out there similar.

As others have said, the effect looks great on camera, but if you're doing it in a closeup setting
there are some elements of the gimmick that could flash. In live performance it would need to be
done at a distance, 4' or so away from the spectators and in low light for best results. The bills
are not examinable unless you figure a way to switch n' ditch the gimmick for a real bill.
There is a lot of setup involved to construct the gimmick but once you've made it it's good for
lots of performances. The main part of the gimmick is very sturdy and made to stand up to mild
abuse.
The biggest disappointment for me is that the main part of the gimmick is geared
more towards european currency. I suppose it could be a fun trick to "convert" your own currency
from euro to US bills, but the size difference would be a problem. Additionally most of the bills
look really bad, they're mostly hand-drawn reproductions of various currency so it's definitely good
for performances to children, but i'd be embarrassed to perform this for adults.
I've
looked up the materials needed and it does look like you could produce your own gimmick if you're
good with graphics software. I don't know how realistic it would look from a desktop printer though.
There may be a legal restriction as well, which is probably why they made the gimmicks the way they
did.
If you just want to see how it's done and want to play with the gimmick for ideas or
want something flashy and visual for a stage or TV show then i'd say go for it... but this isn't
terribly practical for walkaround or a bit of fun at the bar.

Very disappointing. The fake money is childish looking. The explanation is done to music without
speaking -- all visual. Not sure that I want to destroy money to make the gimmicks needed.
