After ogling and handling these cards for 30 minutes, I came straight here and bought a brick. I've
never had a EPCC-produced deck before, but the finish on these cards is excellent. This deck has
jaw-dropping looks and standard faces that make it perfect for any magician, cardist, or player.
This may be my deck of the year so far.

First things first; The stock is not bicycle, the finish is clumpy, and you don't even get the
slightest hint of a gaff card. I guess you could say that this Architect needs to go back to the
drawing board *Insert Laugh Track Here*

These cards are superb, and in my glancing a very underrated product on Penguin. The artwork is
classy and beautiful. The box fit and finish is superb. What I feel the reviews here are lacking are
in the way the Cards are cut. They faro PERFECTLY. Certainly not the most affordable cards, but the
quality is 5-Star all the way if you are looking beyond standard bikes.

I start with a big "Thank you" to the team, i had a deck that was damage during the delevery, you
guys answer me so fast and send me a new one ..what to say ..5 stars for the team !!!
About
the Architect playing cards, well it's an incredible deck, beautifull, and excellent for what ever
you ask for (flourishing, fans, faro shuffle,..) but the cards get sticky realllly fast, looks like
there is a glossy finish or something like that. So i recommand this cards if you will use them for
specific event or gigs ...but definetly nor for practicing.

love em. easily my favorite tuck box EVAR. love the ace of spades and joker design. i think the back
design might look better reversed, with more blue and less white, but still look soooooo damn sexy!
i could go on, but the guidelines say no profanity, and thats 95% of my vocabulary, so ill leave it
at that. they're f#@%ing beautiful!

Deck collectors!!! Great addition, they handle like... yes butter, beautiful design LOVE the white
background. Just gorgeous.
These are nice looking cards with a stiffer-than-normal stock, which I find appealing. The only
thing I don't like about the cards is that they are not classicly cut, so they don't faro well. I
would think if I buy a pack of cards specifically marketed to magicians and pay over $10 for it,
then I can expect a deck that faros nicely. These don't, hence the 3-star review.
Okay, so there is no double backer or blank-faced card, but neither does Bicycle. I'm sure everyone
has a million bicycle decks laying around without complaining.
Honestly, these are some of
the nicest cards I've handled in a long time. My go-to "designer" deck is Monarchs. These almost
as good. I say almost because they don't fan quite as well, or maybe they just don't look as good
with the black on white contrast. However, it's been a couple months since I purchased this, and
I'm still using the same deck that I opened when I first purchased the brick. Usually, I would have
gone through two or three Monarchs by then.
The back design of the cards is very elegant,
and it conveys a "minimalist" look. They faro right out of the box perfectly, and have the other
thousand times I've faroed the deck. The edges are not frayed or discolored.
The faces are
not the generic card faces, but the fonts are a little sharper and thinner, more modern looking in
my opinion, but with keeping the same traditional style in mind. The finish of the cards look like
linen, which adds a nice character to the deck when viewed much closer.
The tuck box is
great! I love the silver. It draws attention but it's not overbearing.
I bought this on
sale for half off, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm confident that these decks will last me
a lot longer than I thought.
