These are nice looking cards with a stiffer-than-normal stock, which I find appealing. The only
thing I don't like about the cards is that they are not classicly cut, so they don't faro well. I
would think if I buy a pack of cards specifically marketed to magicians and pay over $10 for it,
then I can expect a deck that faros nicely. These don't, hence the 3-star review.
These faro great. They are traditionally cut. A deck can faro fine, whether with traditional cut or modern cut. The difference is a matter of which way the deck is facing, and or technique.
It's not that the deck can't faro, it's that most decks prefer to be faroed either face-to-back or back-to-face. Some techniques work better one way or the other.
If you faro as taught in Card College, you probably prefer a modern cut. If you prefer to do table faros, you'll prefer a traditional cut.
Nothing at all to do with the cards' inability to faro.
