If you've bought a product, effect, video or whatever Gregory markets; you already know that you
will end up with more knowledge, tips and ideas that WILL improve your magic performance!
Nuances that only come through hundreds or thousands performances. You can forge forward on
your own and learn all the hard knocks wisdom, but some guys are worth sitting and listen and watch
because they will save you from PAIN; because they have already DONE IT! Best of all, Gregory
actually wants to SHARE that!
Highly Recommended. The ONLY thing in his "extended" version that
isn't explained, which is a watch steal. However, you still get some insights, even though that
wasn't part of the deal anyway. ENJOY AND USE IT!

I'm reviewing the effect by Gregory Wilson,
which was written a long time ago (copyright 1998),
in The Art of Stealing Watches.
I have stolen my share of watches.
In my opinion,
the watch steal cannot be beaten
in terms of astonishment. Borrowed object, happens in
spectator's hands, impossible. It's nearly as astonishing as mind reading--instead of stealing a
thought from her head, you've stolen her watch which she can barely put on herself--without her
noticing!
However, the watch steal was very difficult to learn.
And it required getting
caught to learn it.
The investment was worth it.
This is, dare I say it, equally
astonishing and maybe equally memorable.
But ten times easier.

The simplest tricks are always the best, as here. This is magic anyone can perform with some
practice to fine tune it. It plays in the spectator's hands and the effect escalates as the effect
is repeated.
Devilishly clever with the most simple of techniques.
I'm always on the lookout
for an effect which I can perform on the spot and with what is in my pocket (or that of the
spectator).
This magic ticks all the boxes. It's especially good for someone like me who wants
to concentrate on card magic, but also wants to perform a few really cool coin effects

This is a great trick with amazing lessons in misdirection and audience management. I expect to grow
as a magician tremendously from performing this trick.

You can't BE Gregory Wilson.
But you can steal some of his moves, words, choreography...even
body posture. You get to steal it all. BECAUSE YOU PAID FOR IT.
SO I WOULD STEAL EVERYTHING,
THEN MAKE IT YOURS.
His first coin and watch had him in two positions -- in front of spec
and on the watch side of the spec.
I'm not sure which is better that or this...because he's
stationary here.
I may prefer the first method. actually i DO.
In any case S****NG THE
D**E COIN ***** THE ****H REQ****S C*****T W*** THE SPECTATOR -- SPECIFICALLY, HIS/HER UP*** ARM,
SH*****r, LOWER A**, AND BRIEFLY HIS/HER W*** AND WH*** SO I THINK IT'S BETTER TO M*** AR****.
CONCERN HAS TO BE : WILL SPEC FEEL YOU FIDDLING WITH THEIR W***H AND WILL THEY FEEL THE D**E
COIN.
YOU NEED WHAT I CALL "COUNTER FEELS."
COUNTER-FEELS: PLACING THE VISIBLE
COIN WITH A LITTLE OOMPH INTO THEIR HAND, CLOSING THEIR FINGERS OVER THEIR HAND, AND CONTINUOUSLY
PLAYING AROUND WITH THE HUMOROUS BIT: DID THE COIN VANISH OR NOT FROM THEIR HAND?
ALSO GOOD
AT SOME POINT TO TOUCH THEIR WATCH SIDE SHOULDER, AS GREG DOES IN HIS FIRST VERSION -- THEIR UPPER
AND LOWER ARM. SO DO A LOT OF FEELS, BUT THEY HAVE TO BE MOTIVATED.
FINAL NOTE: PICK THE
RIGHT WATCH. CAN'T BE LOOSE.
AND IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE, DON'T BE LOOSE EITHER.

This is well worth watching, practicing, practicing, and then testing on friends, and then
practicing, and then performing! Just go for it!
If you love coins vanishes (I learned a
brand new one) and if you always wanted to make coins appear under someone's watch, this is for you!
Gregory!
Thank you for all your magic and expertise. I watched this and, as
always when I see such magical things I say, "Oh man, can I ever do that?" And like always I work
hard and practice and I got it down. I actually performed it for the very first time to a crowd of
10 people at this 2021 Thanksgiving holiday party. It went well for the first round. I even came up
with a funny story about love while doing it.
Thank you!

As a new magic hobbyist, I am often uncomfortable with magic videos on the market since they
presuppose significant pre-knowledge of magic techniques. However, Gregory Wilson hit the sweet spot
with his video! He provides excellent instruction at a level I can clearly follow and walks the
viewer through all of the needed steps for successful completion of the magic. And, the amazing
magic is doable for both newer and more experienced magicians. This video is highly recommended.
