Why on Earth would you, almighty magician, write down a prediction on a postit note, attach it to a
card, and then lose that card (with your prediction) in the deck, just to look for it less than a
minute later? Makes no sense.
Other variations presented in this download are equally not
convincing for me. Just think about it: same scenario, you stuck your prediction to a playing card -
why did you do it is not clear, but whatever,, let's say you had no harder surface to support your
postit note... Why would you then not leave that note in the full view since it's already written?
Or not give it to someone else to hold on to Make sure you don't tamper with it? Instead you
(magician) hide it to a safe place - your (magicians!) pocket. For heavens sake, wtf. And then,
again, extract it from your pocket less than a minute later.
For what it is, i think this was
overpriced.

I agree with many of the other reviews that this effect is flawed in concept. The routines are
riddled with illogicalities. Why write a prediction on a postit note by removing it from its pad and
sticking on a card fdor support, and then either lose the card in the deck, or remove the paper and
put it in your pocket?
I also agree that the explanation could have been done with more
elegance.
Nevertheless, try the effect in the real world and you will find that it does have a
great impact on an audience, it shouldn't but it does. You can't judge an effect until you've tried
it. I wouldn't like to repeat this trick with the same audience, but that is surely a rule good for
most magic.
This just proves to me that it is unfair to review an effect until you have
performed it, and to underline the fact that a lay audience is not sensitive to the same things we
are.

I Like this effect the problems are the camera is way too far a distance to properly distinguish the
explanation the second inconvenience is Sir Congreave's explanation is disjointed & erratic IT IS
NOT CLEAR ! It was such an exasperating
& frustrating presentation that unfortunately drove me
to drink unceasingly & uncontrollably a pint of Whiskey !The the 3 issue with the presentation is it
was recorded in a dimly lit room !all in all I like the effect even though I will never understand
the explanation !I give it 5 for the effect & a 1- for the explanation & presentation
I have
respect for Mr Congreave's artistry & experience. Mr Congreaves as a courtesy
Please a remake of
the explanation for everyone that has purchased or for those that will venture in purchasing this
great effect !Dee Christopher segment on a variant of the effect was prefect in terms of
cinematographical quality & explanation !

Very clever approach, reallyππππ».
The only negative is the instructional film, Hello, it's 2017
π
I bought this, its ok, only a few minutes long, he says set up, this I did not see in the video
Very clever method, and so easy to do. Gets maximum impact on an audience. Recommended
Many magicians have excellent effects, but I also know that many offer their explanations in such
ways that they fulfill their explanation sounding sincere, but they know how to camouflage key
details.
The concept of this effect is very inviting, but to me, the explanation lacks
clarity due to a language barrier and excessive side-tracking.
I believe the more
experienced magicians may have an advantage picking this one up.
I lost patience with the
explanation and put it on hold until I have more time. This is not an effect I'd recommend to a
beginner.
First let me say, I trully enjoy performing the effect. It just looks good, plays well and is fun
to do. It was worth the extra effort I needed to out into making it work.
Second... about
that "extra effort"
Petsonally I found the setup instructions confusing. (Probably me). After
messing it up three times and using most of a pad of Postit notes, I backward engineered the setup
and now have a completely working effect.
The additional vudeo is also helpful if you do'nt
want to go to your pocket or keep the prediction on a card in the deck.
the explanation was great and easy to follow and I have done it many times already and have gotten
great reactions.
I've made up the deck and have tried out two of the presentations on my wife. She was impressed and
had no
clue to how it was accomplished either time and she is quite knowledgeable about card
tricks. I will probably add it to
my next strolling magic event. The only downside is you have
to switch decks if you want to perform a different card trick.
Overall it's a great prediction
trick.
